Shot this a couple year ago after a friend asked that we keep her child’s face off the internet (no facial recognition, no digital footprint, just a little privacy).

Funny enough, the photograph went on to find a life of its own on Pinterest - found it looking for references for another friend that I was going to shoot baby photos for.

It reminded me that you don’t always need to show everything to share something meaningful.

Dad / Daughter day usually includes a photoshoot… this one included a corn maze walk, eating apples off the tree and posing in the pumpkin patch. 🍎🌽🎃

Fall fun is in full swing!
Highly recommend this place. It’s not overly crowded, plenty of things to do. Farm fresh activities, warm apple ciders and snacks, animals and tractor rides!

I’ve been incredibly blessed to work with some of the best clients you could ask for, and @more2lovebridal has been one of those relationships from the very beginning.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Laura and Monika since they opened their doors. There’s no better compliment than a client who trusts you, calls you back again and again, and is even willing to wait for you to wrap another project so you can give theirs the attention it deserves.

From Laura and Monika (who are always good for a few less serious frames) to all the wonderful women at the boutique, this team has been an absolute delight to work with.

Last year I spent some time working in Simcoe County on a few projects and directed a campaign for Silver Spring Farm. One of the unexpected highlights was getting to spend a few early mornings with this guy.

As I start rebuilding my website (which has been offline far too long) and sorting through work I want to showcase, I keep coming back to these “personal” images.

I shot them while scouting the property one morning before the day got underway. Just a horse, a sunrise, and a reminder that not everything in life needs to move at full speed.

I’m curating my portfolio with a little more intention, focusing on the kind of projects I want to attract. The kind that challenge me creatively, introduce me to places and people I wouldn’t otherwise meet, and hopefully feed the soul as much as they pay the bills. taken in Silver Spring Farm by @mr_rybinski

I’m only as good as my crew.

There are several very important people missing from this photo, but this outtake from my last project is one of my favourites.

Commercial shoots are hundreds of decisions, moving pieces, problems solved and people doing what they do best (usually while someone is holding a coffee).

The finished work gets the attention, but this is the part I love.

Very grateful for the people behind the camera who make me, and the work, look good.

A couple Porsches, a Nissan GT-R, celebrating friendship (and @jc_zagaceta becoming an official #Canadian).
Completing a proper afternoon of fast cars, loud engines and questionable influences is my kinda Sunday.

The only complaint? The cars are too fast, the track is too short and now we want to do it all over again.

Saturday.
Sunset.
Synchronizing with the slower rhythm of tonight’s sky.

I’m pretty used to the constant grind. Multiple businesses, fighting the city for a permit to build a house, landscaping, dog park adventures, gym sessions, and cooking/plating the next menu item for my future restaurant (retirement plan)…

Sometimes, I have to schedule time to have no schedule. No urgency. No client’s vision to bring to life. Just golden hour, tonight’s colours, and a moment to take it all in.

In 2019, while producing a SkipTheDishes campaign, I bought Chinese takeout containers in bulk to save a few bucks. It seemed like the smart move.

Seven years later, I’m still eating noodles out of them.

So yes, technically, I saved money.

The dishwasher is still full, though 🤨, and my search for someone willing to do the dishes remains wildly unsuccessful.
Producer brain: always looking for efficiency.

I removed my previous post out of respect for someone close to my friend and their grief. It was requested to be removed but my doors are still open Friday!

June is Men’s Health Month, and this Friday night I’m opening the doors at The Geary Studio for any guy who could use a place to be.

No speeches.
No pressure.
No need to explain yourself.

Just food, a place to sit, and people willing to listen.

Pulled pork and chicken provided.
Food is free.
All men welcome.
