Senetterton 16th April 2026 was the fiesta’s ( bettys ) first full track day and in my opinion a success! We only got recovered once! We blew a boost pipe off in our second session, after well over tightening it the second time around we didn’t suffer any issues going forward.

I spend the day trying to refine the setup a little. All being new to me it was a bit of a learning curve making some suspension and tyre adjustments I managed to dial out some of the under steer I was experiencing and having a play with my bias valve ment the rear brakes weren’t locking up under hard braking the setup still needs lots of work including changing my front track width and adding camber adjustment. But the main thing is we had fun!

I’ve got plenty of footage of which I will upload to my YouTube channel linked in my bio ( when I get chance )

Thanks to my fiancée @sam_wolton_25 for the amazing photos of the fiesta throughout the day.

Thanks to Tom for trailering the fiesta to the track and eventual drive home!

Well I believe we’re ready, it will be bettys first track day on Thursday quite a few late nights spent getting it ready. New Radiator, driveshafts, NSF ball joint and pinch Bolts, OSR caliper, handbrake cables and bodged the NSR caliper doubling the handbrake return springs. Put the track wheels and tyres on fitted a fire extinguisher ( just incase ) and set up a camera to record the day also wired up to the car to keep it charged!

And i had to give it a bloody good clean too!

Hopefully we have a blast can’t wait!

Some of you may be aware that I was involved in a car accident a few weeks ago. Fortunately no one was injured but Sprout my daily driver ( Fiesta ST150 ) was hit by another road user and unfortunately everything is bent, including the NSF chassis leg she’s a write off. I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported me and come out. You know who you are.

Sprout was only my daily and has no social media presence, I’d of been heart broken if it was any of my other cars. Sprout has been collected by co part. I did have to give her a last limmi bash tho. That car did me well and altho was definitely not fast it was fun.

I knew immediately after the crash that she was a write off putting a sensible head on ( for once ) I needed to decide what the next daily should be. The criteria was.. efficient, cheap to fix, easyish to work on, not too expensive on tax and most of all FUN, something I’d enjoy to be in. So ruling out most things old I had to put my hand in my pocket and buy something a little more modern so here she is… Buffy my ST180. My first sort of nice car. So happy birthday to me… I’ve turned 28 and suddenly decide to be sensible… not sure I like this 😂 by @mr_tom_bird
