Friday night was Bryce’s very first football game, and what a night it was. We spent almost 4 hours on the road trying to get to Orlando, only to arrive after the game had already started. No time to stretch, no warm-up, no pregame routine he had to jump right in.And on his very first touch of the ball he made a play! 🏈No excuses, no complaints just heart, determination, and showing up ready. Five years. Same handshake. Different stage. Everything changed. ❤️2021 ➡️ 2026.In 2021, it was just a father and his little boy sharing a pre-race tradition.Fast forward to 2026 the handshake is still the same, but so much has grown in between.What you don’t see is the years of coaching, mentoring, encouragement, early mornings, sacrifices, and believing in him when no one else was watching.As a wife, watching my husband lead our son with patience and purpose has been one of my greatest blessings.As a mom, watching that little boy grow into a young man who trusts the process with a big ole smile is something I’ll never take for granted.The medal is amazing, but this bond is the real win. ❤️🏃🏾‍♂️#TrackAndField #SportsMom #Family by @mr_usg24

This past week at the AAU National Club Championship was about so much more than track and field. It was a reminder of what it means to be a family.As a family of seven, showing up isn’t always easy. It takes planning, sacrifice, flexibility, and a whole lot of teamwork. We cheer from the sidelines, celebrate the wins, encourage through the challenges, and remind each other that no one does it alone.Every one of us had a role, and together we made memories we’ll carry with us long after running through the finish line.So grateful for this team God gave us.
