“The fact we have three host countries makes this World Cup special. It will pull the whole region together. It’s an opportunity for the different federations to work together to make this the best World Cup ever.” ~ Cobi Jones
•
Finally made it to my first World Cup game. Having the tournament so close to home was such an amazing experience. I’ve been playing for almost 40 years. I wish I had this kind of inspiration so close to home when I was little. Now it’s time to watch and see what the next wave of kids do with this beautiful game.

“There is beauty in silence and there is silence in beauty and you can find both in a bicycle!” ~ Mehmet Murat ildan
•
Finally took the time to ride my bike and did it in a great way. Participated in the @bikeforbrainhealth. Challenged and pushed myself with the 90k ride. It was a tough ride but met up with @melanincyclingsquad on the road and they helped me get to the finish. Such an amazing experience being on the DVP without any cars or traffic. 10/10 would do it again!

“Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must; just never give up.” ~ Dean Karnazes

Had the honour of spinning at the premiere of @hatetheplayertv at @shopstc inside the old HBC store (full circle moment, I use to work in that store for nine years). It’s always a fun time being home in Scarborough and keeping the vibes tru to the ends. It was a good night and was great to meet @iamben.johnson the first Canadian icon I saw that looked like me. I don’t care how it went down, he’ll always be my first BLACK SUPERHERO!
•
Shout out @duckys.locs for keeping the locs fresh!
