Fellow men,

Don’t sink anyone’s boat; the ocean is wide enough for all of us to sail comfortably. I was not born a philosopher but my advocacy for men's mental healthy had made me realize a lot.

Life isn’t a competition where someone else’s progress threatens yours. Just because another ship is sailing doesn’t mean yours is sinking. We’re all navigating our own storms, chasing different destinations, and adjusting our sails with the little wind we have.

Someone else’s success doesn’t mean your failure. Someone else’s light doesn’t dim yours. In fact, helping others stay afloat doesn’t slow you down, it strengthens the entire fleet.

The ocean is vast; enough space for dreams to be pursued, businesses to thrive, talents to shine, and victories to be celebrated without bitterness, envy, or sabotage.

So instead of drilling holes in someone’s boat out of fear, jealousy, or insecurity, offer guidance. Celebrate their wins. Learn from their journey. After all, calm waters rise all ships.

At the end of the day, it’s not about racing ahead alone. It’s about sailing with purpose, peace, and integrity.

There is wisdom, and there is enlightenment.

Wisdom is basically clinging to the better extreme.
Enlightenment is basically clinging to any extreme according to how circumstances demand.

A wiseman will teach about avoiding evildoers so that you won't be swayed away by their deeds.

However, an enlightened individual will teach you to keep company with evildoers with the intention of hoping they will get inspired by you and change.

When others go home, I go for serenity. Across Kilifi Bridge where the sky kisses the ocean, and the beaches cradle my thoughts in waves of peace. The breeze speaks in whispers, and the sand remembers every step I take.
