Why… why was it ever a thing to not add ceiling lights in the living rooms?
This whole room will eventually be gutted to open up with the kitchen, but for the time being…. We just need light!

Truth is… he’s already got 5 years experience under his belt.
He’s been working alongside mom and dad since he was born.
🛠️He usually starts he day by saying, “Mom today’s a good day for a project”

While dad was at the gym, I decided to finish the bathroom demo my 5 year old started. Luckily dad showed up to help me lift the new vanity over the toilet.
Enjoy a home project with 3 little munchkin voices.

I guess we’re jumping into a bathroom renovation. Tell me you have a 5 yr old that listens as good as mine🤭

A year has come and gone just like that. Time flies when you get pregnant, finish renovations on one fixer upper and move into another, and bring home a 3rd baby in 4 years 😜

Some of the major renovations we focused on this last year:
• Repaint, and new flooring in the upstairs bedrooms
• Add a basement entrance
• Put an ADU in half of the unfinished basement
• Add a bedroom, bathroom and home gym on the other side
• Add fenced horse corral and 40’ shipping container
• Gravel back driveway
• Plant trees and curbing in backyard

Excited for the projects we’ll tackle in the next.
What should we do next?

When you have 3 boys, errand runs usually include a trip to ACE.

Installed all the apartment door knobs and I’m loving the warm Antique brass. And…they didn’t break the bank!
Think I made the right choice?

What a project…. Lots and lots of digging and holes, Electrical, plumbing, shipping container footings and delivery, fence posts and railings, and finally the arrival of the horse.

Tanner got a horse last year, so that added complexities when looking for a new house…Another reason why we love this new house 🏠💛

Basement apartment entrance completed!
So lucky to have a talented dad who built an artwork instead of boring concrete wall.
