Just a heads up to those who are in Central Florida or anywhere: I've received a few phone calls over the last few days about my health insurance because it's that time of year. Upon investigation, it's not my health insurance company. Because they've tried this before I knew what they were going to try to do. Be careful because they are getting a lot of people's information and making them think that they can help them with their insurance.They spoof a local number. They will try to set up an appointment with you or get your information so that you get coinsurance through them or get you a new policy however they have obtaining this information unlawfully/unethically and are impersonating another company. I got permission from my manager to post this during company time. See pic below by @mrantdiva

Happy Monday! I left for work a little early this morning because I had a good feeling about the sunrise and I needed a good one! Looking at the sunrise, you have two choices: be grateful and hopeful for what today might bring, or say, “Damn, it’s going to be another long hard bad day and it's Monday!.”
I choose gratitude, hope, peace, and possibility because the opposite is truly miserable.Today has so much promise and that alone is a gift!

HAPPY HUMP DAY!
On this Wednesday, I just came to say:
Life is messy and the world is LOUD
so find your little joy and make yourself proud.
Be grateful for what is here, what is coming, and what you’ve survived. Love yourself enough to rest, laugh, eat the good food, take the trip, give thanks, and enjoy the good and tender moments when they come.
Keep going and finding the joy.
Stay grateful and give yourself grace.

Now y’all don’t act like y’all don’t know what today is… I love this day!! Happy 21st of September!! This song asks the question “Do you remember dancing in September? Never was a cloudy day!” This songs helps me remember that no matter how bad things may be, there was a time when things were better and brighter. Remember that day that day and feeling? After a long week emotionally, mentally and everything in-between, I find myself laying here with gratitude in my heart . As I was laying here, nobody does it better by Carly Simon came on and I began to tear up. I got to enjoy dinner with some really good friends after being able to help another friend who is going through it. While I was sitting at dinner I saw people start to gather outside. Because I'm a NOSEY, I went outside and when I stepped outside everyone was taking pictures of this ridiculous sunset! I was looking at the sky in awe when someone asked to take my picture, and for a moment I just stood there looking up, grateful to be alive, grateful for my friends, and grateful that God keeps reminding me there is still beauty to be found even when life is hard! (Plus y'all know I think I'm Diana Ross, baby!)
Nobody does me better than me and you, God. I see you in simple things like this sunset. I’m learning to love that person I see in the mirror more every day. And if a man wants to take me out, feed me, and watch a sunset with me from the roof of his building, well… Lord, I’m available... And can turn a sunset into a sunrise😜🤣 😂. Now y'all rest! Oh, what a night!! Pints with Pride at Ivanhoe Brewing Company was the perfect little happy hour with Orlando Pride season ticket members and I was lucky enough to be Kim Scott's guest! There’s nothing like being surrounded by people who love this team and this community as much as I do. We’re on a roll, y’all! I'm not trying to preach but y'all know I got something to say: Life is a lot like being a fan: you show up, you cheer through the tough moments, you celebrate the wins, and you never give up just because the scoreboard isn’t looking pretty. Keep believing, keep going, and remember the story isn’t over yet! Now let me go finish this 16-hour day with some prayer, moisturizer, and some ibuprofen 🤣 Love you! We got this! by @mrantdiva

My godmother has been showing up all week, and she picked the funniest ways to do it.
Today is her birthday and it's always a bittersweet day. This year she made sure I couldn't even get sad about it! Godma spent her life as a maid and a housekeeper, cleaning other people's houses so she could take care of the people she loved. She never had much but she gave like she had everything to anyone. I even remember her taking God Daddy's ex-wife chicken soup when she was sick one time! She showed up for me, a complete stranger to her when I needed somebody to love me and be there for me. Shirley used to say if she ever came back, it would be as a butterfly because of how beautiful they were and how carefree they were.
A couple days ago as I was going to put the mail organizer to put it away, I saw the back of stamps. When I flipped it over, it was a butterfly stamp.
It didn't stop there because later that afternoon I was listening to a talk radio show I like and they kept saying "It's Shirley's birthday." "We love Shirley." Over and over about someone. And just so she knew I heard her, yesterday and therapy my therapist started talking about a Popeyes near her house and how much she loves it. I laughed out loud because Popeyes basically killed my Godma. She ate it happily and often. Her one joy after a lifetime of taking care of everybody else was a Popeyes 3 piece snack! When we cleaned out her purse after she died, we found Popeyes receipts with her employee discount! She didn't even work there! They loved her that much! Years later, I found out she used to hand the employees 20s and 50s just because she she felt they needed it. She made everybody feel special, even the person ringing up her chicken.That was Shirley. A maid with the heart of a queen. A woman with almost nothing who made everybody around her feel like everything.
So today, do something kind for somebody. Check on a friend, give a stranger a compliment, tip a little bigger than you have to. Make somebody feel seen! That is how you love like Shirley. I don't know where I would be without that love. Love you. WE GOT THIS!! by @mrantdiva

That Sunday morning feeling.... May it be so everyday. This was my soul rant as I woke up this morning: I'm just so grateful this morning and always. My body and mind give thanks for a moment of rest no matter the long or short! I'm just so so grateful that I have been given another chance and my gracious loving God looks at me with love even when the world doesn't. Can I share this moment with you from last night? Some weeks will wear you out. This week definitely tried. 😂 The day is about five days away, but I’m still grateful because three years ago I didn’t have a job, didn’t know what I was doing, and couldn’t see this life coming. Now I’m working hard, playing hard, and stopping long enough to watch the sunset with storm clouds behind me on my lil scooter "Emily". That’s why it made me cry. A reminder of what’s behind me, what’s ahead of me, and how much beauty can exist right in the middle of the storm. Keep going. You’re closer than you think. Love you! We got this! ❤️ by @mrantdiva
