I graduated yippieee!! ⭐️🎓🎊

These past four years have been turbulent; trying me at times where I really didn’t think I would be here to see it through to the end.
Because of this, I am ever-more thankful for the friendships I have made and lost along my journey. They have taught me to accept loss and abundance and to never give up as there is always someone or something waiting around the corner, no matter how hard it gets!

Well done everyone we all smashed it xxx by @mrbethanart

Collage Workshop tomorrow!! Come join us celebrating International Women’s Day with collage - a feminist process of coming together and making, talking, cutting up and transforming the world!
~
Everyone is welcome including across years and courses too.
~
I will be documenting this event with informal interviews and photography to produce a zine for one of my final year projects - anyone not giving consent to their picture taken will be heard and respected.
~
Poster (made by me hehe) is insanely late but that’s just life innit luv xx

My research video I put together for my last brief! I had so much fun making this (after putting it off for ages) and it made me realise that video editing is something I really enjoy :)

My theme of research was creative women in revolt. This video is very personal to me and my lens of femininity - I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now. Song is Standing in the Way of Control by Gossip. I love you Beth Ditto!!

Salomé piece 1/2 🪲

Black and green riso of a collage I made commenting on the representation of women present in the Salomé play. This is a more modern interpretetation and I wanted to clash trashy teen mag esque elements against more traditional religious iconography to ridicule ideologies that discriminate against women and highlight the historical length and depth of these issues. by @mrbethanart
