Nobody tells you the hardest part of being an entrepreneur is taking a day off and not feeling guilty about it.

I decided to go into the city and immerse myself into the madness and honestly, it somehow charged my battery. The fast-pace, the noise and people blowing their car horns as soon as the light turned green — everything gave me perspective on urgency.

I stopped into one of my favorite joints and still caught myself judging how they set the tables. 😂

While I was down there, the creative juices started flowing and I randomly created “Out of the Whites” — a short docu on life outside of the chef coats.

I’ve been recording more lately with the intention of letting you guys into my private world and what I do outside of being a chef / entrepreneur.

When’s the last time you actually took a day off? What do you guys want to see more of? by @mrdrehimself

Big age means big boy closet. Kindly get yourself a nice blazer… and wear the heck outta it. Jeans, slacks, sneakers, loafers, it goes with all of it.

And for the love of Jesus, get it tailored 😂

Comment BLAZER and I’ll send you my recs.

If I share this full story, you wouldn’t believe me, but I think it’s important for you guys to hear at least some of it.

From Hoopin’. To Corporate. To Cheffing. And now fashion mixed right in.

Laid off on vacation in Jamaica, took a leap of faith (that Mustard Seed faith), and God’s been ordering my steps since.

God’s Ambassador Drop 01 is open for preorder until Nov 12. Comment PREORDER for the link.

5 left in each size… MAN WHAT!! by @mrdrehimself

I couldn’t find the tracksuit I wanted, so I made it.

The 5:20 Nylon Suit, unisex, in Regular + Tall at the same price.

Preorders close Nov 12 — thank you to everyone that has purchased!! Ya’ll rock!

Guys, I’m really excited about this one.

God’s Ambassador Drop 01 is finally here, and preorders are open.

The idea was simple: make athleisure look jiggy. Pieces you can dress up for a night out or keep easy for the day, and look fly either way. This drop is for the ones who are unapologetic about the team they play on, and still show up looking right.

What’s in the drop:
The 5:20 Nylon Suit in Onyx and Forest. Wear it with clean sneakers for the day, or loafers and a crisp tee for dinner. The Forest has reflective piping that lights up at night 👀

The Inside-Out Crew in Oatmeal. Heavyweight, made inside out on purpose, and just as good over a collar as it is with sweats.

Every piece carries 5:20, with the verse inside the neck. Wherever we go, we’re representing.

Unisex and cut oversized, XS–XXL. Every size comes in Regular or Tall at the same price. As a 6’6” guy, that part was non-negotiable.

Preorder pricing:
Suit set $230 (goes to $260 after)
Crew $99 (goes to $115 after)
Free shipping over $200

Only 20 of each. Preorders close Nov 12 or when they sell out. Ships by Dec 18.

Comment PREORDER and I’ll send you the link.

Thank you for rocking with me. Let’s represent.

Send this to someone who’s needs a man who can do both. Chef Dré or Date Night Dré by @mrdrehimself

Host: “I got the pig.”
Me: “Bet. I got everything else.”

This was The Great Divide — 80+ guests, a whole pig roast on one side and a full plant-forward BBQ spread on the other.

I’m a firm believer that the plant side shouldn’t be the “other” option at the table — it should be the plate people come back for. That’s my standard every time I serve.

Shoutout to the hosts Joe and Caitlin for trusting my team and I with the vision, and to my team for holding it DOWN. Special shoutout to my partners @liquidblissvegan & @samsbananapudding for helping bring the vision together - some of the best desserts in town.

Good food doesn’t pick sides, it brings everyone together 🫶🏿

So be honest… Team Pig or Team Plant? Brisket or Fried Shrooms? 😅

Oh, and huge shoutout to @chefuniforms for the custom Chef Coat. I love bringing my creativity into my chef unis by @mrdrehimself
