Post race RC drift car chasing! ° Thanks again to @eighty8rc_drift_shop for hosting our races and the drivers dealing with our angry bees flying around. Would love to come out to a Friday session to chase more 😉 Longer chase footage will be posted on YouTube shortly, listed in my bio, Please check it out! ° Modified the O4 mount to try to get the ducts out of view but still had to use gyroflow and reduce fov to get it out of frame…can't tell on IG but on YouTube it looks like mush. I’ve made a v3 that should finally do the trick! Also if @betafpv is listening, I would LOVE an Air85 frame just to move my build over to that platform 🙏🙏🙏 Make it happen and let me know, lol. ° Made more of an effort to really pull in as close to the cars, apparently heard it adds pressure to the lead cars as they maintain their line. Left background audio in, loved listening to the cars turbo boost up! Fly-thru a Kid-sized metropolis! ° Always wanted to fly through this facility, it’s literally a kidsized city/town! Big thank you to @kidtropolis and birthday host @pierreti for the opportunity to fly this huge venue! Hope the kids enjoyed chasing the BatWhoop around! I’m up for some “official” flying if there’s ever an interest @kidtropolis 😉 ° It’s always surprising how much my little one has a lot of trust in my flying, it’s time he learns how to do it too! ° Also, I forget how the older the kid, the more coordinated they are! #Tinywhoop racing over an RC Drift Track! ° The club had a chance to set up a whoop track around the rc drift track for some fun-fly whoop racing. Nothing like zooming over RC Drift cars while putting in the fastest lap times. Had difficulties with the timing system but that eventually got resolved and was able to put some TQ times in (we’re all competitive despite the fun-fly i guess haha). ° Eventually did a mock race which turned out chaotic having the best of us (including myself) crashing but again managed a solid run. We’ll be visiting this venue again for some more racing soon! Diy build, Meteor 75 pro II Analog! Sourced all the parts before #betafpv released a developers version. Though you might be better off with the bnf unless you want a custom look! ° It's a light build for its size especially with Air camera and Air II Canopy. That didn't stay on for long, just wanted to see how light it was before swapping to a 3d printed one. I have a build video and first impression video of it in the works but I can say this thing is really quiet, like surprisingly! #betafpv Air75 II Champion ° Been awhile since I did any freestyling, applied some of the moves practiced at the FPVpark at this location. Aiir75 II Champion had it’s last outing here before the flight controller kicked the bucket, everything went wonky (osd went, video flaked, gyro spasmed making it unflyable rip lol). Crashed a Block Party near the end of summer with the DJI o4 batwhoop, discrete, like ninja🥷. Crossing another bucket list, chasing RC Drift cars, lol! ° Drifters and Whoopers coexisting. Included audio of the banter @pairadime and I went through trying to share the air space while chasing these drift rigs around, so much bumps and collisions just to get that line, 🤣 All in good fun, it gets crowded when there is a 6s and a 1s cinewhoop plus two other #tinywhoop on the trail of these cars. What was really surprising was the hdzero whoops were able to still fly out there even while a vista and o4 were drones were in the air. 🤔 ° Big shout-out to Aiden @eighty8rc_drift_shop and the drivers for tolerating our crashes and letting us race at the track! And @dolphinaphinity and the VanWhoop club for setting this up impromptu! Unboxing the new @caddxfpv Curve Micro 16 #tinywhoop and Ascent Goggles! It did take some configuring to get it connected which through the magic of video editing took like a few second. Hard to believe HD FPV at an affordable price! I'll have first impressions flying the Ascent Whoop on YouTube soon, check bio for a link. Stay tuned! Racing with Dynamic Gate ° Collaborative race setup with the booth next to us as the folks at Extremehobbies.ca strapped an LED gate on their rig (i think it was a 4 or 5s traxxas chassis?).
