This year my goal has been focused on my physical health by balancing out my hormones. I didn’t realize how much low testosterone can affect your body and no wonder I’ve been feeling the way I’ve been feeling for so long.

I thought I’d share a little bit of my journey and what the process looks like to have testosterone pellets injected. It’s so quick and only takes about 20 minutes. It’s honestly painless, as you get numbed before the initial injection. I got my initial injection 3 months ago, so this was my second and I’m hoping I feel more of a difference this go around.

My testosterone level was initially at a 5, which is almost undetectable and women should be between 125-150.
I thought the way I was feeling was normal with being a busy mom while working and taking care of all the house, chores, cleaning, etc.

A healthy testosterone level can help with many things like fatigue, brain fog, libido, energy, mood, and more. I didn’t realize how important it is, and I’m hoping to get my body to a normal level soon.

I wish people would talk more about how crucial women’s hormone levels are and how much they can change over the years after having kids and getting older.

Let’s normalize the importance of women’s physical and mental health.
