On this Pride weekend it’s such a sweet full circle moment sitting down with fellow wedding planner @mrjasonmitchell to talk about his new book, We Do.

As someone who’s spent years helping couples celebrate one of the biggest days of their lives, I loved diving into how weddings—and the people planning them—have evolved. Books, boutonnieres, and a room full of people who love a good celebration. The WE DO Pride Tour continued in WeHo.

I’m so grateful to @tinoland and the entire team at Soho House West Hollywood for hosting this conversation; the Karen to my Grace, @peteporte , for leading the Q&A; @cobralily for teaching beautiful boutonniere technique; and everyone who showed up to support.

There are some rooms that carry a little extra weight.

I had the privilege of speaking at the Stonewall Inn about WE DO, the stories behind it and the journey that led me to write it.

The Q & A was led by the iconic @janjanjan and I’m still on cloud nine. As a member of the LGBTQ+ wedding community, being able to share that conversation in such a historic place was incredibly special.

Michael and Christopher are married!! They succeeded in throwing a PARTYYY with an insane band, performances by some of New York’s best, lots of dancing, sequins, disco balls - and a boat ride.

Although they set out to have more of a party than a wedding, they couldn’t help but have one of the most moving ceremonies I’ve experienced.
