Valentino, this one is for you. ❤️‍🔥

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Valentino Catalano.
He is 19 years old and has been racing since he was 5 years old.
Valentino is not just a racecar driver. He is an absolutely wonderful and inspiring human being and so is his grandfather.

He is now racing for Gebhardt Motorsport in the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, and his LMP3 car is sick.

I consider Valentino one of my greatest inspirations, and a dear friend of mine. ❤️‍🔥

If you’re down for a wonderful story, this is where I’m telling it:

~ As I was watching what I thought was a very brisk practice session, a Speedway marshal pointed out to me that the winner of the race’s dad was standing about 12 feet away from me! Naturally, I was very happy for him, so I went to shake his hand and give him a hug.

What I did not expect was his response: “I like you very much! Please stop by when you have the chance to Garage 64 Blue! You can meet Valentino and he will sign your shirt!” I was ecstatic, but my white H&M t-shirt was really nice so I didn’t want him to sign it. 😂

The first video shows what happened next :)

I found out that this was his first ever time at the Daytona Speedway, and he killed it out there getting P1.

He encouraged me to never give up on my dreams.
He did not start with a lot of money but kept on trying as him and his family worked hard to keep him in racing, and he got the shot he needed.

Now, he’s a 2-Time Daytona LMP3 race-winner and he gave the hat he got from his second ever win to me.

I am lost for words on how amazing you have been to me and I am truly grateful for you and your grandfather’s kindness.

Thank you for being more than just a racer.
I’ll be following you throughout this season! Praying for you man! 🥹
