Attaching something cheesy I wrote about the ocean just a bit ago

♡

The way I trust the ocean with my life.
The way it takes me; where I have no control but only the option to surrender to the rhythm of its waters.
Each stroke is a dance against its resistance. A test of strength and surrender.
The things my body allows me to do underwater. I imagine it’s the closest feeling to what it would feel like to fly.
I love the ocean, and in its own way, it loves me back. There is mutual respect between us, a silent understanding.
There’s something about being near it, even in it, that makes everything feel okay.
The vastness of its entity, one million times bigger than us.
Theres a rush in that first dive, the instant your skin touches the water, bringing you fully to life.
You leave everything behind; on land.
You’re now immersed in the vast entity that is pure magic; another world.
All the trauma, problems, worries get left behind.
You begin to put into perspective the amount of things out there that are unknown.
Putting us into perspective compared to the rest of the world, the universe.
It’s much bigger than us.
Soon, your problems begin to feel smaller and smaller; the longer you surrender to the support of the water.
