Live, laugh, laugh, don't get pegged in the kitchen?

We've all been in those houses with the weird mottos, but some families are freakier than others.

Meet the 2026 Daniel Escobar Scholarship Awardees! ✨

Who are these wonderful people with the same fearless drive we saw in Danny?

We’re excited to introduce.... @ldydrgnflm and @mrjoshquinn!!!!! 👏

🏆 DORI MURDOCK (Full 12-Month Winner) Living in a packed trailer during COVID, Dori used Gorilla tape, parachute cord, and blackout curtains to build a booth around a desk. Through severe chronic pain, ADHD and housing instability, she refused to stop chasing her voice, even recording her first audiobook in 2025.

🏆 JOSHUA QUINN (6-Month Awardee) An Atlanta based actor and improviser who built his own PVC booth, Joshua has been chasing the dream through every obstacle since 2013. When asked if he’d still pursue acting if it always paid minimum wage, his answer was immediate: “Absolutely.”

If you haven’t already, please join us in welcoming Dori and Joshua into their next chapters at the Dojo! 🧡
