Prayer has always been my foundation. So grateful for my First P roots. I don’t post often—especially when I’m doing ministry—lowkey too radical for my own good 😭🤦🏽‍♂️ but I had to share this moment.

Thankful for the opportunity to pray alongside such powerful intercessors this week. God is still moving. 🙏🏾🔥

🔥 DON’T LET ANGER COST YOU THE PROMISE! 🔥

Last Sunday in PowerZone Youth Church, we continued our Silent Battles series talking about ANGER 😤➡️🙏🏾

Using the story of Moses striking the rock (Numbers 20:1–13), we got real with our youth about what makes them angry—and gave them godly principles for handling anger without letting their emotions control their actions. 💯

Anger is a feeling, but it doesn’t have to be your leader! 🙌🏾

🔥 WHAT A SUNDAY AT THE POWERZONE! 🔥

Yesterday we continued our CONQUERING SILENT BATTLES series, and Pastor Jessie preached “DON’T LET ANGER COST YOU THE PROMISE!” 😤➡️🙏🏾

Coming from Numbers 20:1–13, we talked about how our emotions are REAL, but they don’t have to RULE us! 💯 We’re learning how to take authority over how we feel and not allow one emotional moment to cost us something God has promised. 🙌🏾🔥

Our children learned about Jonah 🐳📖 and brought the lesson to life with crafts and activities! 🎨

We worshiped 🙌🏾
We prayed 🙏🏾
We learned 📖
We laughed 😂
We moved 🏃🏾‍♂️
And we GREW! 🌱

God is doing something special in our young people as we continue confronting the silent battles they face every day! 💜🔥

We’re not ignoring the battle. We’re learning how to CONQUER it! 💪🏾

🔥 FAITH & DOUBT CAN SHOW UP IN THE SAME ROOM! 🔥

Last Sunday at the PowerZone, we got REAL about doubt and unbelief. 👀 We talked about the father who brought his son to Jesus and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” 🙏🏾

Sometimes you believe God… and still have questions. Sometimes your faith is strong… and doubt still tries to creep in. But the good news is, you can bring ALL of it to Jesus! 💯🔥

And Jesus STILL moved! 🙌🏾

Starting next Tuesday, I’ll be kicking off a Self-Discipline Series for our youth ages 5–18 at Powerhouse Chicago, 14410 S. McKinley Ave, Posen, IL. We’ll be meeting every Tuesday around 7 PM in the gymnasium. 🙏🏾💪🏾

My goal is to teach them early that life will not always be easy as they get older. There will be challenges, distractions, pressure, and moments when they may want to give up. That’s why learning self-discipline now is so important.

Self-discipline teaches us how to control ourselves, make better decisions, stay focused, be responsible, and keep going even when we don’t feel like it. These are lessons they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

I’m excited to pour into the next generation and help them understand that discipline is not just about following rules it’s about becoming the person God has called you to be. ❤️

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Today’s youth service was powerful 💯🔥
We talked about silent battles—rejection and peer pressure—and how they show up in real life. We looked at David and his brother Eliab 👀 and how rejection can come from those closest to you, then connected it to the clean version of Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools” 🎶 and how peer pressure can quietly shape our choices.
Reminder: God chooses you, even when others don’t 🙌🏾✨
Proud of our youth for showing up and opening up ❤️
