You crossed my mind 😊🙏🏾❤️🫡 by @mrk_sx
I’ve never been in a “successful” relationship with a woman. I have no proof that it’s even possible for me to have a lifelong love story, yet I live as though it is. I do the things that I think and feel are right, and lend themselves to that reality. Why? Well…….. Stay brave family📌📌📌 by @mrk_sx
You just had to be there…eternal thanks to my brother @illastrate_ for suggesting @tonebeatz and I form a creative union. That thought birthed some of my most creative moments. This was supposed to be the intro to an album that never dropped. I think it’s still pretty good 👏🏾👏🏾📌📌 “Building Fund Intro” unreleased Produced by @tonebeatz by @mrk_sx

Peace to @tonebeatz for just being amazing at what he does, and for all the words he’s inspired over the years. Go follow him …here’s something from my hard drive that I think deserves to be heard. Stay brave family 🫡📌 by @mrk_sx
50? 🫣 Sheesh that was too fast….I’m grateful for it all. My Princess surprised me with a cruise 🚢 to celebrate 🌹🌹. I’m a blessed guy man, what a ride. Let’s shoot for another 50😉 by @mrk_sx
And another thing….good advice ain’t just for the young people😭😭 Us, more seasoned folks just come across more competent and confident😳 We aren’t that far ahead!! Pass some of that good stuff over this way😁😁😁…stay brave family 📌📌📌📌📌 by @mrk_sx
Fear has had me in a choke hold all my life. I got lucky early though, because running away from things made it possible to run into some cool moments. As of late, all it’s done is run me into a wall😳 Anyhow, I hope it helps. Stay brave family 📌📌📌📌 by @mrk_sx
We got about 50 in the clip!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ by @mrk_sx
My theory is that you can only be as good as the bar set by those you hope to impress. We all seem to, on some level be motivated by the validation of others. It could be a brother, sister, uncle or parent. We all benefit from a “if they like it I know it’s good” person. In this conversation, @producedbyirag and I talk about the importance @tmo_music has played on his creativity from the beginning, even before they were officially @trackoholiks . Check out the new song “Money” featuring @e.smitty1 they produced for me from our forthcoming album. It’s available exclusively on my website. 💰💸💵💶💷💴🤑📌📌📌📌 by @mrk_sx
“Back 2 Me” featuring superb additional vocals by @n68vs remains one of the brightest jewels in my creative crown. The song began in 2018 as a beat sent to me by @lundy2cool in a pack of leased tracks by @officialtjonez I remember the first time I heard the beat that it would be one of the best records I’d ever written. I was right. It was 2019, and had an ambitious idea to shoot a video that involved 10 locations split between ATL and Detroit. As a director/videographer/editor/performer it was sure to stretch me well beyond all previous experiences in those areas. It would be my magnum opus. I had no budget, but one of my superpowers is making things happen out of nothing. I also had some help. @aisle5_atl took the whole journey with me. He brought his Android, a gimbal, and a great attitude. I’ll always appreciate that🫡 The home in the video is my actual childhood home that I left in 1994. I was shocked to find the backboard from my rim is still on the garage. We also shot in front of the church I was raised in. I couldn’t gain entrance, so I hit @bront313 and he arranged another church to shoot inside. Thanks bro🫡 He also arranged for the drone shots🙏🏾 We shot one day in ATL, and 3 days in Detroit. On the road there, I manifested a dream sit down with my favorite emcee (it happened btw) I put everything I had into it, and couldn’t wait to release it. It dropped Jun 20, 2019. It has 423 views and 11 likes (ouch) The song appears as track 6 on my EP The Amazing Sockmonster. Do me a solid if you read this far. Go to YouTube, search “MRK SX Back 2 Me”, watch it, and then comment below. 📌📌📌 by @mrk_sx
I truly hope this helps someone. What may have looked like sacrifice on me, was also full of neglect, selfishness and no empathy, in service of a…well…dreams….Dreams seem to be manifested as a story within, inspired by something external that looks like destiny. A narrative that finally fills some void, but in a majestic way. Maybe you were poor, lacked love in some way from someone important, have a feeling of powerlessness, can’t get women, overlooked or just plain not paid attention to. They are useful, because they get you off the couch and into the world to slay those invisible dragons in your head. If you’re lucky, you’ll get the life lessons needed to evolve to a higher state. Hopefully, though unlikely you’ll limit how much you hurt others. I have zero regrets, these are just honest observations. Stay brave family….📌📌📌📌 by @mrk_sx
