🎬 Honored to be attending the 2026 Chicano Hollywood Film Festival as an accredited Filmmaker.

It’s inspiring to be part of an event that celebrates authentic storytelling, diverse voices, and the power of independent film.

Thank you to the festival organizers, volunteers, fellow filmmakers, and the sponsors whose support helps make opportunities like this possible. Looking forward to connecting, learning, and celebrating the art of cinema over the next few days.

See you at the movies! 🎥🍿 @chicanohollywood

Most of the real work happens off camera.

People focused.
Hands moving.
Someone stepping in before you even have to ask.

This is what being on set actually looks like—support, awareness, and everyone doing their part so the story can come together. No spotlight, no speeches. Just teamwork and trust built in real time.

Moments like this are why I keep coming back to filmmaking. It’s collaborative by nature. When it works, it feels less like a job and more like a shared rhythm.

You don’t see these people in the final frame.
But you feel them in every shot.

A sign of change…
As the Panavision Hollywood office prepares to close its doors and consolidate operations in Woodland Hills, I can’t help but reflect on the many incredible memories made here.

This building wasn’t just an office — it was a place where lifelong friendships were formed, where creativity thrived, and where countless projects came to life. I’m grateful for all the years shared with coworkers and friends in the industry, including my good friend and colleague, Armando Reynoso, pictured here.

Here’s to the next chapter… and to the legacy that lives on.

“After the smoke clears, nature rebuilds. 🐝🔥 Found this peaceful swarm of bees in Duarte, quietly gathering strength. With all the fires we’ve had, these resilient little pollinators will be buzzing back in full force—just like our community. Los Angeles is strong. 🌿💪 #BeeStrong #RebuildLA #NatureHeals” by @mrkaugust
