This is for those of you who were looking for me to weigh in on what them rich and famous comedians were saying a couple weeks ago that had nothing to do with me. 😆

However, I think this example is a good visual representation of my take on the matter.
Sometimes it really do just be a matter of great minds thinking alike.
I was today years old when I saw this bit from the big homie @funnyaida.
My clip is from 2017.
It happens.
🤷🏽‍♂️
(Imagine you saw one before you saw the other. Now reverse it. That’s how it starts.)

Celebrities getting involved in politics is nothing new. What has changed is how they influence their fans, and what they’re influencing them to do.

Whether that’s for better or worse remains to be seen.

Missed today’s show? No worries, you can find it on demand on the SiriusXM app. by @mrlamontking

R.I.P. David “DL” Lawrence 🙏🏽

A Baltimore native who made some major moves in the music industry. David held VP roles at Jive Records, Sony Urban Music and Epic Records, helping promote some of music’s biggest names—including Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Maxwell and Outkast.

He also founded DLA Promotions and Consulting Group in 2011, helping artists and labels with promotion, marketing and artist development.

Urban Flavorz interviewed David back in 2011 at P-Stew’s birthday party. Even as a VP at a major record label, he still came back to celebrate and show love to his friends.

Big résumé, but those personal moments matter too. Rest in peace, DL. Condolences to his family, friends and everyone who knew him. 🕊️
