This is for all my low voices out there!
anyone else ever been told ‘your voice is too low’? I was discouraged but now I’m inspired!

Do you know how many times I was told, “We don’t know what to do with a voice like yours”??

I was told to sing differently!! To make my voice higher… even to stop singing! To find something else to do…And, real talk, sometimes I believed them!

It took me a long time to realize that “we don’t know what to do with your voice” is not the same thing as “there is nothing to do with your voice”!!

Sometimes it just means they haven’t heard someone like you before!

So to every young singer with a unique voice, a huge voice, a low voice, a high voice, a voice that doesn’t quite fit the boxes people have built for you: please don’t mistake someone else’s lack of imagination for a limitation!

Thank you to the guests who complimented my rendition of ‘hey, little songbird’! I don’t know if you’ll see this, but I’m very grateful!

Come find the Ringmaster in the darkness…

Perhaps you’ll receive a tarot card…Perhaps the cards have already chosen you.

Come see what fate has in store!
Smile in the dark.
