My girl forever. Everyone knows you’re fun, beautiful, and have that kind of joy that everyone wants to experience. What most may not know is how much depth you have and how hard you work. You give everything you have to be an amazing wife and mom to me and Ev and you take whatever sliver of time you can get — late nights and early mornings — to build something really special through @aftr_kidspodcast . As of this month, I’m officially full-time freelance. It’s the scary kind of exciting, but I’m grateful to be able to work with people I love and spend more time with my favorite people, my family.

That said, I figure I should start sharing more of my work on here. So, first up is one of my favorite projects this year: branding for @theed.ithouse , a new post production studio in Nashville. Not only did I get to put together this branding alongside @sjlsynergy , I’m also part of the team.

This project is special for me because Steven is one of my favorite people and has given me more opportunities for amazing work than I deserve. Plus, he’s brought the best people on board so I basically am just getting to work with my best friends.

J, there isn’t a doubt in my mind that you are filled with the love and joy of the Lord. Evan and I are blessed to experience it daily.

You are so much more than a mother, but today we celebrate this role that you handle with equal parts grace and grit. Evan has no idea yet that he has won the lottery by having you as a mother, but I know.

Evan turned one earlier this month. I honestly didn’t even know what to say about it; there’s nothing I could say about how quickly those 12 months passed without being cliche. I’ll just say that I never want to take for granted the time we have with him.

We waited 6 years for our little guy. Those years seemed to last forever only to have been forgotten the day he erupted into the world. Evan, I hope you always know you were worth the wait and that the love and joy your mother and I feel for you is enough to erase the sting of any valley of waiting.

Happy birthday, Evvy. Thank you for blessing my life and for being my sunshine. Let’s have all the snacks when you wake up from your nap. by @mrlukecampbell

The worst day saying goodbye to the best boy.

Buddy came into our lives at a critical time, even though we didn’t know it then.

He’d force me to go on walks outside every single day which would end up transforming my mental health; he’d stay up late with me, sleeping by my feet when I was working and feeling lonely; and when we couldn’t start a family, for 5+ years he gave us someone to care for, spoil, and love.

He was truly the best gift and so much more than a dog.

Happy birthday to my wife and hero, @mrsjjcampbell We’ve been so busy celebrating you today offline but I still wanted to celebrate you publicly.

J, watching you grow and dream, build our future, and parent our son is like having floor seats to watch Michael Jordan in ‘91. You are doing what you were made to do and it’s thrilling to watch.

This project is incredible and I kind of can’t believe I get to be a part of bringing it to life through animation. Huge shout out to the legend @sjlsynergy for trusting me and inviting me to work with you and the team. Excited for the work we’ve already done for the launch today and even more excited about the work that’s still to come!

A holiday that for us (and many, many others) has been marked by sadness. I’ve watched as year after year you have waited and grieved but ultimately remained hopeful on this day. Now, to see you with Evan is to see your heart expressed out loud. Motherhood isn’t easy, but you could fool me. Evan and I are blessed beyond measure to celebrate you today.
