I went into a mental hole after my Asia trip and never uploaded any of the footage from Japan or Vietnam (until now). I felt as if I lost my creative flow the second I landed back in miami and I was back at the place I had been accustomed to my entire life. I felt uninspired and drained. Especially after posting an incredible vlog from Costa Rica… I just felt this one wasn’t good enough, but I decided to stop holding onto the footage and just post it. I vlogged 5 days in Tokyo , as well as other travels in Japan which I’ll be posting next week.

I’m sure other people go through this too, especially content creators, where you just feel misaligned and creatively fatigued - and it sucks. Like every video I make is bad and people won’t like it and it’s all so stupid. But then I remember this isn’t about anyone but my self. I recorded it and I’m posting it because I LIKE IT. same thing with my music recently. I’ve felt talentless but then I remember I’m doing this for my self and I just have to keep getting better. Anyways, watch the vlog ❤️ by @mrluvlace

I always loved shows like Zoey 101, victorious, icarly, etc. and wanted to make a vlog that had that same early 2000s wittiness to it. I’ve been holding onto this vlog for a while now because honestly I felt my audience might not like this style but hopefully it reaches the right people. Give my vlog a watch now on my new YouTube channel - @mrluvlace

Thank you to @selimskiii for the cinematography, editing and overall creative direction. by @mrluvlace

Finally dropping a song. I’ve been making music for so damn long just sitting in my room, turning on voice memos, playing my guitar and singing lyrics from my notes app for nearly 7 years, and only recently did I decide to learn how to produce and build out the ideas I’ve had stored in my head. I posted this song , which was the first song I ever made with barely any knowledge of producing, and so many of you guys liked it which was the last thing I expected. I was 100% prepared to receive a bunch of negative feedback and it was quite the opposite. I’ve always dreamed of taking music more seriously and it’s been my New Year’s resolution to put out a song for 3 years so I’m just proud to finally get to say I have a song out there. Sometimes I feel like my mom is paying all of you guys to say it’s good though.😂

Anyways, “ephemeral” dropping August 5 and you can pre save it now — link in bio.

Wherever this music shit takes me, just know that every single one of you who has left me a comment or dm’d me supporting me, you’ve made my entire year. by @mrluvlace
