Normandy France. What a beautiful and historic place. Such incredible architecture, scenery and atmosphere and the location of the allied invasion in 1944 - D Day. I thought I knew a good bit of the history but being here at the actual places where it all happened has been something else. Incredible feats undertaken by brave men and woman. A very special place. Client asked for new oak balustrades and metal spindles. Rather than adding work by removing the existing newel posts we clad them instead with solid oak and installed the new handrails and spindles. 👍 🔨🪚 🪛 #joinery #bespokecarpentry #bespokestaircase #bespokecarpentry by @mrmatcarter
