Well…. This competition is hard. Round two went great but we didn’t finish. This whole competition is made up in following the rules and making your points and we didn’t get it all to the table. The best stuff we put up in all our practices made it to the display table. We won two trophies for world’s best sausages. Word on the street we were close to winning a couple of the other best of categories. But overall we got a bit trounced. Outperformed by a bunch of great people that did some outstanding work.

That being said I’m super proud of my whole team. They did an excellent job. The whole thing was truly awesome. I was worried about starting with a pretty much all new team when we assembled for this go round. Boy howdy did I not need to worry. These guys turned out to be some incredibly talented, hardworking, inspiring Larrys. They made me hungry for it and made all this worth it.

There’s our last practice run posted, some dates of me and @themeatshop_pa (mark), our studs with their trophies and just some random shots. Paris was awesome and getting to meet up with the other teams was very fun. Seeing what these guys do around the world is so exciting and inspiring.

I could go on forever but mainly congratulations to everyone that is involved from competitors to judges, managers, coaches, spouses/ partners, organizers and sponsors. This all is truly a magical thing to be involved with. by @mrmitchellmeats

Thank you to all the adventurous eaters who came out for our celebration of off cuts last night!

And special thanks to our Charcutier @mrmitchellmeats who put together an amazing nose-to-tail menu.

We had so much fun cooking ALL DAY on these Masterbuilt Gravity Series grills at the Blues BBQ Festival.

12 hours straight in Hudson River Park (Pier 76) & never had to stop cooking to reload charcoal!

No chimneys to mess with. No removing burning hot grates. Grills stayed within 15 degrees of set point the whole time - WOW.

1200 happy customers served & we barely broke a sweat. Well, that’s not true, it WAS 88 degrees... 😅
