We’re getting there! Just need to do some touch ups, bit of tiling, new lights, general finishing, deep clean then get the products in and on the shelves!

We’re trying to get things right first time. It’s been a steep learning curve so far going from a restaurant and a wine bar into retail… turns out we underestimated the workload so are trying not to feel too overwhelmed alongside juggling two children under 4!

We’re hoping to open in early November and we can’t wait to introduce you to Mr Nick’s Pantry.

Lizzie aka @ejstudiouk is our architect friend who we called in last minute to help us with the layout and design, she’s been incredible, she’s really brought both ours and her ideas to life with such precision and is a total lifesaver.

Tim has also been supportive with practical advice alongside more Dadaist ideas!

This is Olive ( @olive.branch.deco / @olivebranchsees ), she’s the best painter around. We lived together when we went to Leeds College of Art back in 2010. If you need a thorough and perfect job doing on your house/business then Olive is the one. She has some availability from September, DM her to get in touch by @mrnickspantry

My old mate Dan, we worked together at Majestic in Richmond over twelve years ago. He now works for an incredible importer and came to @barrouxbristol with over 60 wines to try… it was the longest tasting of my life! Started at 5pm, not sure when it finished.

I’ve known Justin since I first moved to Bristol nine years ago, he is an absolute gem. He’s making the wine shelves and putting cabinets together this week.

It’s now moving quickly and will start to look like a shop soon! by @mrnickspantry

We’ve just taken our first delivery of stock… the incredible @arch_hot_jam which is very difficult to get hold of around here!

It’s the perfect balance of sweetness and heat from the scotch bonnets, it bursts with flavour and is incredibly versatile. It can be added to almost anything but we like it most with scrambled eggs on toast 👌 by @mrnickspantry
