Day three in the bag and we are really starting to push. @proambitionshockeyinc coaches were great today (have been all week!) pushing Alexander and others out their comfort zone and leveling up! #utah #hockeylife❤️🏒🥅 #mammothiceskating #proambitionshockeycamp taken in Select Health Ice Center by @mrpatrickhenry

Today was all about shooting and crossovers. Watching Alexander take on new challenges, listen to the coaches, and keep building his confidence one rep at a time has been great.

Day 1 at @proambitionshockeyinc camp at the @mammothicecenter . So proud of Alexander for stepping outside his comfort zone. He’s working hard, learning from great! coaches, and giving it everything he’s got. #Hockey #utah #youthhockey #hockeylife❤️🏒🥅 #hockeyplayer taken in Select Health Ice Center by @mrpatrickhenry

13+ years… that’s how long it’s been since I last played a hockey tournament.

I’ve coached plenty since then, but actually putting the gear back on was a completely different feeling.

I was rusty, slower than I remember, and the body definitely reminded me I’m not 25 anymore!. Even managed to take a puck to the ankle. Ice and Tylenol earned their keep this weekend.

Just wanted to say thanks to the lads. You were incredibly patient with me while I shook the rust off and made me feel part of the team from the first shift. I genuinely appreciate it.

Was great for the family see me on this side of the bench for a change!!

The game has changed. I’ve changed. But one thing hasn’t… I still absolutely love hockey.

Had the time of my life! @cwflight event gave me a chance to take a discovery flight in the SR20 (think Tesla of planes!), and it did not disappoint! Ben was an amazing instructor. Flew over SLC , Flying near SLC international airport with @delta in sight was surreal. #cwflight #pilot #slc #utah #aviation #studentpilot #cirrus @cirrusaircraft taken in CW Flight by @mrpatrickhenry
