We’re genuinely grateful to have been trusted with the opportunity to ideate, design, and execute the Big Brother house. It’s not lost on us how significant that responsibility is, and we stepped into it with excitement and intention.

The vision was clear: to create a house that is visually striking, aesthetically compelling, functional, and fully aligned with the theme of the season. But beyond how it looks, we cared deeply about how the space would feel. That emotional experience mattered just as much as the visual one.

The Big Brother house is known for its bold, colorful identity, and while we embraced that energy, we were very conscious about not letting it tip into something that felt overly playful or childish. We wanted to strike a balance — a space that feels whimsical, but still grounded in maturity and sophistication. We wanted it to feel immersive, like you’re stepping into an environment rather than just looking at a set.

Of course, bringing all of this to life came with its own realities. There were tight timelines, a lot of constraints, and countless moving parts. Designing a Big Brother house is very different from a typical interior project - it requires constant coordination, flexibility, and attention to detail across multiple layers. It was a real juggle at times, but we leaned into it and made it happen.

And honestly, a huge part of what made this experience so special was the people. The team - both on our side and the Big Brother side - were incredible. Collaborative, committed, and aligned in wanting to create something truly impactful. There’s nothing like working with a client who truly understands and appreciates creativity and strong execution. That kind of partnership makes all the difference.

For us, this project was about balance — between beauty and function, playfulness and depth, spectacle and livability. And we’re proud of what we created.

@mrphisha has been photographing me for over 10 years now, and there’s something really special about being photographed by someone who has known you for that long.

He’s probably the one person who knows how to capture me in all my elements. I never feel like I have to perform for his camera or become some overly posed version of myself. He just captures the moment as it is — the movement, the laughter, the stillness, the little things in between.

And that’s what I love most about his photography. I always still look and feel like me.

This shoot was especially light and easy because some of my favourite people were in the room. We laughed, played music, talked nonsense and somehow, in between all of that, Phisha made magic.

More than 10 years of being on the other side of his lens, and somehow he still manages to show me versions of myself I haven’t seen before. ❤️

I absolutely LOVE capturing my people. Not only because I get to help them tell their stories, but because, as my people, I get to capture them from the angles and perspectives I hold so dear….The little things I see in them, admire about them, and get the privilege of showing the world.

Monday is now one of my 3 LEG days a week!

Funny how the days at the gym that used to feel tough … the ones I’d rather not show up for … have somehow just become regular gym days. I’m not as scared of them anymore.

One of my greatest gym inspirations taught me something simple: even on the days you can’t show up 100%, at least show up.

I think I’m beginning to understand the power of that beyond the gym.

I’ve had to navigate some difficult days and tasking projects … somehow, some way, I’ve kept showing up. Not always at 100%. Not always feeling my strongest. But present. Doing what I can. However small the effort … it always compounds.

And somewhere between all those ordinary days of just showing up, the difficult things started feeling a little more normal.

It truly takes a team to do anything great. And this Big Brother project is a real reminder of that. There’s no way this would have come together the way it did without the people who showed up every single day, committed to making the process as seamless as possible and ensuring that things got done.

From the client team - who honestly felt less like clients and more like co-creators - bringing ideas, feedback, and perspectives to the table with clarity, respect, and openness… to being willing to explore different directions and possibilities.

To Dineo and Natalie, whose leadership made a real difference - giving clear direction, articulating their vision, and holding things together from their end. To Jessica and Seye, who were incredible at managing the process and keeping everything moving. To Terrence, who handled the logistics that made working on-site possible, and to Dumi, who went above and beyond, stepping in even where it wasn’t strictly his responsibility.

And to our own team - David, who led fabrication through constant changes with consistency and great energy, and Demola, who managed the site coordination so effectively, ensuring all the moving parts worked together. And of course our Inscribe Ninjas - Femi, Senator, and Tomi, always bringing that good energy to our projects.

That level of teamwork created the space for us to focus on the bigger picture—vision, strategy, timelines, and quality—without dropping the ball.

If I’m being honest, achieving 100% perfection on a project like this is incredibly difficult. I’m naturally a perfectionist, always aiming to give 101%. But with the realities and constraints that come with a project of this scale, you learn to prioritize what truly matters and let go of what doesn’t. Even with that, we pushed ourselves to deliver on things that could have easily been written off as impossible. And I try not to say something can’t be done unless it truly can’t.

Grateful for a team that made the dream work.
