Title: GRIN
GRIN explores the quiet power and beauty found in a genuine smile. Inspired by the way faces transform when they open up, this work captures a moment where joy and confidence exist at once. The act of grinning, showing one’s teeth, becomes a language of its own, expressing emotion beyond words.

Rendered in charcoal and graphite over 75+ hours, the drawing emphasizes light, texture, and detail to reveal the emotional depth within the subject’s expression. Every mark is intentional, inviting the viewer to slow down and engage with the warmth and presence held in the face.

As the first piece in an ongoing series, GRIN sets the foundation for a body of work that celebrates human connection through expression, a reminder that something as simple as a smile can carry immense beauty and meaning.

Dimension: 60.96 × 60.96cm
Prints will be out soon.
