Y’all. I had the BEST BIRTHDAY!! I’m so thankful for my friends. They made my ultimate birthday slumber party dreams come true. 🥹 I HIGHLY recommend having a sleepover with your best girlfriends, dance, sing, laugh, play games, watch movies, order pizza and just HAVE FUN! I can’t thank y’all enough. It was just what my heart needed.😭💗

Still processing how incredible this weekend was. I can’t thank everyone enough. This past year has been the hardest, loneliest, and most painful year. I lost a part of me and almost didn’t want to celebrate. But that is just not what my momma would have wanted. She loved celebrating me. Even though I missed her call of singing me happy birthday, I know she was shouting it down from above.

I felt so loved and celebrated this weekend. I love my people so much.

5 years without her 💜

She was so full of joy even in the most difficult of times. Her laugh was contagious, her smile brightened a room, her hugs were healing, her love for God and people was so big, her worship was LOUD and full of thankfulness to the Lord. She shared the gospel everywhere she went, she saw people, loved them and served them. I was always so inspired by her heart and care for others.

I wish I had her testimony recorded or written down, it’s so powerful and I don’t even know all of it! What I do know though is her “Yes!” to the Lord not only changed her life, but it changed mine, and future generations to come. She always said “I want to do something BIG for God!” Well momma, I’d say changing the course of future generations is pretty big. I know it wasn’t always easy, but I’m so thankful for your continued “Yes!” in every high and every low.

I chose the song “Thank God I’m Free” for this post because I KNOW she would have been running around the building and singing this at the top of her lungs! I can literally see it! 😂

This was a wild month, emotionally low, waves of grief, overwhelming moments, but with beautiful pops of color of people I love and Joy that surpasses all understanding.
