We’re officially gearing up for our soft launch at the Felt Warehouse, and the very first Studios are finally ready for you to see! 💅

We built SwapmeetRVA to directly serve Richmond, giving local makers, artists, and entrepreneurs a space where you can focus, create, and build in an environment that’s entirely your own.
Here’s how you can get involved:

• Book a Tour: Shoot us a dm, or email and we will gladly show you our new home!
• Fill Out the Interest Form: Head to the link in our bio to let us know what you are looking for.
• Become a Founder Studio Member: We’re looking for our founding group to help set the tone for the space!

FELT MEMBER SPOTLIGHT✨ Meet Deja Hadnot, a cornerstone of the Felt Warehouse community and an active Studio member. Beyond her work in our space, Deja serves as the Executive Director of All Colors Equal as well as the co-founder of Swap Meet RVA.

Driven by her vision as a community builder, Deja is passionate about developing collaborative spaces and cultivating homes for the local creative community. Off the clock, she is a natural matriarch, a devoted mother of five, and truly the driving force behind this entire endeavor, without her, this wouldn’t have been possible.

Happy Birthday to the realest person I know… @mrs.hadnot
Most people see the markets and the projects we build but they don’t see the woman who actually keeps the wheels turning. Deja, you really are my heartbeat. Every time I get a crazy idea or a vision that seems too big to handle, you don’t tell me no. You just look at me and we start figuring out the how. You take all this energy I have and turn it into something tangible.

We’ve built a whole life, a family with our five, and a movement in this city, and it wouldn’t be half of what it is without you leading right beside me. You’re my best friend and my ride or die for real. I honestly look at you some days and just trip out on how I got this lucky. You’re the most beautiful woman inside and out that I’ve ever been around and I know for a fact I couldn’t do any of this without you.

And yeah, I know I’m always over here recording you when you’re being all funny and awkward in front of the camera. I’m sorry for always messing with you but I can’t promise to ever stop because deep down I know you love it.
Thank you for being my anchor and my partner in absolutely everything.

👑 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WIFE, MY PARTNER, THE QUEEN 👑

Deja is the heart of everything we do. She’s the calm in the storm, the steady hand, the warm welcome, the one who makes everyone feel seen. If you’ve ever felt the love at the Swapmeet ,you’ve felt her spirit.

We built this market together, side by side. But what people don’t always see is what she does for our family-how much patience, love, and strength she brings into our home. The way she loves our kids, the way she supports me, the way she holds it all together and I still can’t believe I get to call her my wife.

Deja, thank you for being everything. For believing in this vision, for showing up for our community, and for loving us all the way you do.

Happy Birthday. You are loved beyond words.
