Austin has gotten so big and busy but every now and then @icweld and I find an opportunity to sneak away a moment for ourselves. This is on Lake Travis in Austin. It was a beautiful sunset and we had capture it. So thankful for my man! taken in Lake Travis by @mrs.icweld

Recently I've been able to spend some time with my @icweld on the job like we did in the old days. Its been an amazing adventure and an opportunity to see how hard he continues to work to support our little family. But every worker deserves her wages so we rounded off our work week with a gas station charcuterie board. Not half bad when you start with good wine!

He makes it look it easy even while balancing precariously on a forklift, or gouging on some heavy equipment. 🤔

Have a great one.

Another attempt at an anniversary cake. Glutwn-Free Carrot Cake with pineapple and toasted pecans. It was a success. Happiest anniversary to my parents! 55 years and counting.

@fabtechexpo 2025: I got to see it through @mar.guax_sophia28 eyes. I hope to encourage her to pursue her potential as an artist and make use of what @icweld has already put in place for her. I tried my best to post the artist with their art. Keep your eyes out for 2. taken in McCormick Place by @mrs.icweld

I'm not a reader, but I knew I wanted to read this book. I've been following @itchybootstravel for about a year on her travel and adventures and needed to know what drives a person to travel solo so fearlessly. I've always said a person should get to know themselves, but Noraly has taken it to a whole other level. She is strong, she is fierce, and she has handled what life and the open road have thrown at her with seemingly effortless grace.
I started out watching Itchyboots on YouTube for the scenery. I was touched by the kindness she received from total strangers, restoring my faith in humanity, teaching me things about cultures I will never have the pleasure to interact with in their own lands and excitedly stayed for the adventure.
Stay safe out there, Noraly! Read her book! It's at @barnesandnoble taken in Austin, Texas by @mrs.icweld

Been under the weather here at Casa Carrion but my mother-in-law knew how to make me feel so much better. She tidied up our gazebo, patio, plant sanctuary from the scalding Texas sun and made us all feel a little happier. I was inspired to repot and gather my succulents together, and even add a little greenery to the kitchen. Jehovah's creation is so relaxing! Thank you, MIL! by @mrs.icweld
