Thank you @imdb for hosting @backstagecast for a night celebrating Canadian creatives at TIFF ✨🎬

And guys, don’t sleep on @yagacrave ! I had the opportunity to congratulate the queen @ksandler24 and the cast on an incredible series airing Oct 23rd on @cravecanada

Canada is having a creative moment right now and I love getting to see, celebrate and support it 🇨🇦🤍 #yallknowimcanadadown by @mrs.sonja.smith

Mic check, is this thing on?🎙️

For those new here, I’m Sonja, Casting & Partnership Specialist @backstagecast Most know Backstage through our magazine but I work on the casting platform side of the company. My role is to connect producers, filmmakers, casting directors and other creatives with actors, voiceover talent, content creators and crew across the globe.

We had a booth at tiff: the market and met so many incredibly talented people! If you have a need to cast talent or are looking for your next opportunity (especially in VO as that’s my specialty), let’s chat!

Come with Backstage’s own Sonja Smith for a day at the Toronto International Film Festival!

From a screening of “The Julia Set,” starring Chase Infiniti and Christopher Briney, to “Babies,” starring Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick, here’s what a packed day at TIFF looks like from beginning to end.
