How… how are you 16 years old today? 16 years ago you made your entrance in this world and have left an impact every where you go since! You’ve made being your Mom so easy and special. To know you is to love you, you wear your heart on your sleeve and a constant smile on your face, which is completely infectious. You are currently off in Nationals living your dream and doing what you love and I couldn’t be more proud of you! This sweet boy has made it his duty to watch over the garden. The kids named them (the ones that weren’t already) and he will go out and give me progress updates with each plant 🥰 He isn’t the most patient but what soon to be 5 year old is but something about watching him sure makes me want to slow down time ❤️ by @mrs_lady_232

Last week I had surgery, a hysterectomy. While this was planned, mentally it was pretty hard for me to process. Emotional was an understatement, for me I was removing the best part of me, the part that created life, nourished and grew my babies. In reality, I have been in pain for most of if not all of my kids life’s and the pain only worsened over the years and impacted my family’s life.

At some pointed it was so debilitating I would spend days with a heating pad in bed, and what really helped me know it was time was when one day we were planning on taking the kids on a family movie day but I was in a lot of pain and I heard Deggan ask Cam “ Do you think the movies let us bring a heating pad? Or maybe even a bed so Mommy can come with us? “ Needless to say that broke my heart and I knew we were all ready for this surgery to happen!

A friend told me, it’s done its job and now it’s time to say goodbye ❤️ I am so incredibly grateful for my friends and family who have taken the time to drop of meals, check in and helped, and especially grateful for my wonderful Husband who’s catered to me and made sure I was well cared for, my sweet kids who have taken me on my walks, made me get well gifts and tucked me in with lots of loves, I’d be lost without you guys I love you so much! by @mrs_lady_232
