Somehow Rolling Death Summer Camp is over. 🥺 We want to thank everyone that came and made it such a fantastic weekend. 🖤 Soon we will recap all the craziness that happened. 😈

Right now I (it’s Gina) want to take a moment to appreciate all that goes into creating our events. Two events each year are fun to throw, but not possible without a little help from our friends! 💖

Prudence made us killer art and that set the tone for us. Tanner printed all the shirts and stickers you bought and received. Miguel made the koozies.

Our friends gather around to decorate cookies, make dirty dinks and pack bags. This year Annie taught me how to do leather crafts for the clubs. Becca took last year’s Circles board and made pins!

My club- starts planning a year in advance. Dreaming up fun activities for the campers. Dominos, Shooting Gallery, Domestic Beer Tasting, Ramps, Tripping Zones, Frito Pies, Swim Spots, Circles, Stump, Music, trophies, field games and (for the first time) the most epic Pinebox Derby. 🎯🍻🔨🏎️🌭

We are thankful for friends that show up and participate in the wildness. I am thankful to be part of a club that navigates tough times together and stays focused on what matters most- friendships and good times!🤘

Our friend @steve_dewey posted on his instagram stories about a few babies that had been born on his property. He loved the momma and we were all hoping for the best.

The optimist animal lover in me wants to think she was called elsewhere. I am still hoping she comes back. But Steve took on raising these kids.

With no momma, Steve took over. These babies have basically been bottle fed from birth. I didn’t realize until now how much a momma cat does. Baby kittens can’t do anything alone. Their temp control is important, calorie intake, manual stimulation to help them pee/poo, bottle feeding, mimicking momma’s patterns and activities.

It’s round the clock care that requires patience,love and the desire to learn A LOT.

I never made an announcement, because it’s personal pain and frankly the internet doesn’t need to know everything, but we lost Wolf in December to a very progressive and unexpected cancer. Don’t fucking say anything about that. We don’t need any condolences despite your well wishes because we’ve been living in heartbreak and some things are too private. We know you care and that is enough. We will never, ever be over the loss experienced last year losing Sonia, Kitten and Wolf. 2025 was a very privately painful year for our family.

Vidar has been thriving- as a 13 year old single child for the first time. He definitely loves all the singular attention. But- cats are pack animals and he’s a very sweet natured boy. 💕 I am also not a one cat human. I would have 1,000 cats if space allowed! I love every cat I meet!

The second Steve posted these babies I knew in my heart they were saved for us.

The level of care it takes to save a kitten is incredible. I knew Steve was good but until now I didn’t know how good.

These babies are ours now. They have a million names and still aren’t named. Cougar Face, Pumpkinhead, Dookie Bootie, Hey Baby, Steve, Sweet Angel are all things they have been called since coming to their home. We have soft lighting, warming beds, kitten tv, multitude or bottles and endless love.

I feel a renewed appreciation for life. They are ours forever.

Yesterday don’t mean shit but JDs birthday does! 🎂
This an ode to a true friend. She’s always the best dressed in any space and never admits to it. Super mom to Peanut!💖🥜 Voted most likely to Irish Goodbye by everyone that knows her!☘️✌️ Heavy Metal Queen! Car babe for life! Best road trip companion! The girl you always wanna party with!🎉 Will always show up at a river hang with a Buzz Ball! Always has good toilet paper if you find yourself in the woods with her!🧻 While she’s legendary at leaving without a goodbye she will always be there for you.👯‍♀️
JD is one of the most sincere, fantastic, fun, beautiful, smart and caring people I know! We are all lucky that she’s in our orbit!

What a fantastic and wild weekend! We always look forward to the One Show, sure there are cool bikes, cars, vendors and music- but mostly it’s a family reunion after not seeing some friends for a while!💖
The problem with times like this is settling back into real life!!!☹️
This year we decided to share the Javelin and it certainly was a hit. This car is an absolute babe and I love watching people’s reactions. Thanks to Mike at ProTek for hosting me again, this may be my 5th year showing a car at the One Show?
The weekend started with the Hatch Motorcycle Collective grand opening. Super proud of you friends and what a killer party! We are definitely dreaming of hosting a van show there! 😵🍌🖤
Hung out and partied down with some of my favorite people. You know how much you all mean to me!😘🥰😻
Dean and I were thankful we stopped by Michael’s iced coffee pop up and loaded up because Saturday was a long day and Mike’s coffee is absolutely fantastic! ☕️🤯💥 Cat Scratch Bakery is awesome and as always 🖕🏽🧊!!!
Ended the weekend with an early birthday celebration for my lovely Kjersten!!!! So good to have some unwind time with a most fantastic group of friends! 🎂👯‍♀️🎉
I would wish every weekend could be so fantastic, but I’m not sure I’d survive!😵🪦👻
Hopefully I’ll see you all sooner rather than later! You better be coming to the RDVC Show & Shine!🤣

28 years of love with the man of dreams. It’s not always been easy but we’ve never been alone through it. 🖤 So many more good times ahead and we are still learning new things together.😘🥰😍

Scenes from war torn Portland. 💣💥🧭 COOKIES & CHAOS!🤣

The No Kings protest Saturday was remarkable and uplifting. I handed out cookies and hugs to protesters. Stood with friends and made new ones. Marched, cried, screamed with joy/sorrow/frustration/anger/compassion. They say we were 50,000 but I am very sure that is a gross underestimate.

I’m proud that the focus was We Are Unstoppable, Anything Is Possible! Messages of hope are what is resonating with me the most these days. We battle alone through phone calls and emails so anytime we get together it fills my emotional cup.💖

My Cookies and Chaos weekend continued this morning as I joined a fantastic group of people outside of the ICE Detention Center for the PJs and Pastries Protest. The weather sucked but the vibes did not. 🍪🍪🍪

Putting your feet on the ground at that cold place full of hatred and despair is moving in itself. I meditated on the scared people being taken there. Heard harrowing stories. Watched unmarked vehicles with masked humans going in and out. Again- Marched, cried, screamed with joy/sorrow/frustration/anger/compassion and verbally expressed my opinions to ICE agents- Americans that sign up to kidnap and detain people for money. Their actions absolutely disgust me.

I want more for all of us. And I won’t stop fighting for what is right.

People, you have to VOTE. There can be no complacency. Whatever space you have in your lives pleasw use your voice for change. Now is the time.

We had the most excellent time @rollingcoffins Second Annual Something Something Van Invitational!

The guys pulled out all the stops with caricatures, face painting, even better bands, and nonstop good times!

Super proud they make this event a fundraiser and the van community really showed up in a big way!

It was fantastic to meet so many new folks and naturally the best to spend time with the people we love so much!

Coffins- you killed it! Well done friends!

I say this all the time but we are ALL so lucky to have Dean. He’s the funniest, kindest, most thoughtful, handsome, sexy husband. Also the best cat dad!!!

You will never have a more dedicated or honorable friend. Ever.

It’s been a tough year for us but we meet every challenge together and never give up. I would never be as brave or resilient without Dean.🖤

Had the absolute best time @davisgraveyard taking a tombstone making class with @vegangrandmas and @useyourheadxvx! I absolutely recommend taking a class, check out their website! 🪦

I’ve been visiting the Davis Graveyard for years and it was surreal to have a picnic lunch in that space surrounded by the props! Got to meet all the wildly talented people that make this spooky spot come to life, and pet some cats! 🐈‍⬛ 🧟‍♀️👻

Ended a perfect Saturday at the @99w.drive.in to see Conjuring and Weapons with the best sexy husband in the world!

It’s almost Halloween time and I’m pumped for it!!!

It generally takes me a moment to process a Rolling Death campout.

So you know, we are already planning our RDVC12 meeting. We love hearing feedback about what you loved and hated. We also have a lot of opinions!

This is an event we truly love. It’s our opportunity to play host to some of our best friends and also make new ones.

Personally, there is a lot of emotion connected to this event. It’s the only time I get to spend an entire weekend with a lot of you. It’s also a time for ME to let loose and have fun- in ways I can’t usually.

Highlights this year, for me, include- getting my RDVC colors tattooed by a friend. While I was getting tattooed Kyle said- you realize you are getting an RDVC tattoo surrounded by your best friends who are also jumping ramps on a mini bikes. That moment was not lost on me.

The world is pretty shit right now and has been for a while now. All I can ask for is moments of celebrating life with my favorites.

Other highlights were spending time with friends touring vans on what ended up being my “illegal night time unofficial van tour”, van convoys, buying ice cream at a convenience store, seeing folks that couldn’t make camp at our show n shine, camp group meals, watching general camp chaos, potato canon, Creepshow on Rizzo’s van and funny camp observations around the fire. Sunday is one of my favorite camp days because it’s a small chill group.

I love making camp crafts the weeks leading to this event. We aim to personalize our event. Getting together with the club to make trophies and other crafts makes my early summer. I hope you feel the love we put into this event.

There is an equal joy and melancholy about coming to camp before everyone and being the last to leave. I am definitely proud of the respect my friends have for Mother Nature. We come in, have an outrageous weekend and when I do the final camp walk you can’t find a single cigarette butt. Thank you friends.

Anyway, can’t wait to see you soon! Hopefully at Rolling Coffins event in October and or Vantababy.
