They might even call you names.”⚡ “Get comfortable with being misunderstood, disparaged, or ignored — the trick is to be too busy doing your work to care.”These are quotes from Austin Kleon’s book, Steal Like an Artist (link in BIO). 📚And they’ve helped me get over the fear of being seen. Here are my key takeaways…1️⃣ You’re either going to be obedient to God and do what He’s calling you to…2️⃣ Or you’re going to let people who’s opinions shouldn’t matter, keep you hiding in the shadows. I vote we choose to be too busy, too focused, on doing what God has called us to do, that we don’t have room enough to care about what the critics are saying. Your dreams are WORTH pursuing. ✨ For My Busy Mamas - 4 Steps that are helping me:1️⃣ Audit Your Day. Write out everything you do from the moment you wake up until you go to bed. You’ll spot hidden opportunities!2️⃣ Stack Activities. Look for times when you can multitask. (Ex: Listen to a course while folding laundry or driving home from school drop-off.)PS. Follow me @mrsbwhyte for more tips and inspiration!3️⃣ Sacrifice or Swap. Find activities you can skip or replace with business time. (Ex: Skip TV after bedtime or wake up 30 mins earlier.)4️⃣ Buy Back Your Time. Look for ways to outsource daily tasks. (Ex: Use Instacart and spend that hour working on your business instead!)Let’s be real—raising kids (and life in general) takes up a lot of your time. You probably don’t have hours to spend on your business every day. Y’all, Christmas came early this year. 🥰Our sweet girl came 3 weeks early and entered this world by force. This pregnancy and labor experience were full of surprises. Swipe to see some of my favorite moments. 👇🏾1. The morning of our maternity shoot, the beach was at high tide. Let’s just say getting these pics done was an adventure all by itself. 2. My body guard. Held my hand. Made sure I didn’t fall off that rock 😂3. Rolled in off the street with JUST enough time to push. I meant JUST ENOUGH. Still had my baseball hat and bra on. 😂4. Introducing Amelia Zoe Whyte. 🥰 Came in this world with force and immediately stole our hearts. 5. The ladies of the house. ♥️6. Victory Pic. 5hr labor and no epidural. Nothing like I imagined my labor and delivery experience would be, but I’m so genuinely proud of myself for rolling with punches and literally pushing through. 7. Obligatory first car ride home pic. Eeek! Officially counting down. This bun is bout ready to pop right out the oven. 😂This pregnancy has been an experience. With Belle we were in the house because of the pandemic, but now that we’re outside again… the commentary from complete strangers has me laughing.My favorite lines so far:1️⃣The perfume lady at Macy’s - “how many are you having?” (Also, I was only 4 months pregnant at the time 🫠)2️⃣ The lady at Publix who asked when I was due, and after telling her I was due at the end of December said, “woah. That’s a big baby in there” 😂3️⃣ My own mama - “Your belly is suspect. You sure you just having 1?” 😂😂😂I’ve been telling @darrenjevon since the beginning that I feel bigger this time around. And all these beautiful women confirmed that it’s not just in my head. This bump is indeed bumpin’ 😂Mamas, were you bigger with your 2nd pregnancy or is it just me?
