There are some invitations that mean more than simply being asked to sing. This is one of them.

I am deeply grateful and genuinely honored to have been invited to be a part of A Gospel Symphony Tribute to Richard Smallwood with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Buffalo United Community Choir.

Richard Smallwood’s music has helped shape the soundtrack of Gospel music for generations. His extraordinary gift as a composer, pianist, choir leader, and worshiper has carried messages of faith, hope, trust, and the greatness of God around the world. To have the opportunity to participate in an evening celebrating his remarkable legacy is both humbling and incredibly meaningful to me.

🍂 WELCOME TO OCTOBER: IT’S TIME TO FALL IN LOVE AGAIN. ❤️

Marriage can get busy.

You become parents, providers, financial partners, chauffeurs, problem-solvers and bill-payers… and somewhere between responsibilities and routines, conversations get shorter. Unmet expectations become frustrations. Frustrations become disappointment. And if we’re not careful, disappointment creates distance.

But hear me: your spouse is not your adversary.

The enemy would love to see your marriage become a house where the bills are paid, the children are cared for, everybody looks good publicly… but the intimacy is dying privately.

Ask God for fresh grace to love your spouse well. Ask Him for the patience to listen, the humility to apologize, the strength to forgive, and the discipline to be intentional.

Your spouse is a soul, and how you love them should bear witness to the salvation you profess.

Don’t be saved in front of everybody else and mistreat your spouse at home.
Don’t be a hero to the world and a headache to your spouse. 😩😂

And please… GO HOME AND FLIRT WITH THE PERSON WHO LIVES IN YOUR HOUSE! 😂❤️ Stop giving strangers the energy, compliments, smiles and attention your spouse has been waiting to receive from you.

This October, FALL IN LOVE AGAIN. 🍂❤️

Die to the pride.
Die to the need to always be right.
Die to manipulation and control.
Forgive. Rebuild trust. Communicate. Date again. Laugh again. Touch again. Pray together again. Choose each other again.

A new season is a new opportunity to sow better seeds into your marriage.
