Since a lot of you found me because of the twins… hi. I promise I’m more than just tired. 😅

I’m Devin. Married to my golf-loving husband, Mike, for 5 years. We have a full redemption love story after my first marriage ended in infidelity. God restored more than I ever thought possible.

We now have three girls under 2.5. 😮‍💨😅🩷🩷🩷
Dylan came after we lost our first daughter at 18 weeks gestation to Trisomy 18. Then our spontaneous twin girls arrived two months ago after another miscarriage last year.

So yes… this life feels loud and sacred all at once.

I love connecting with people. I love building big businesses. And I love helping women change their financial reality. I recently pivoted from building a multimillion dollar business in the wellness space to starting completely over. I was invited to be apart of the prelaunch phase for an upscale, climate-curated skincare line that’s coming to the U.S. later this spring from Canada. Apparently postpartum with twins wasn’t chaotic enough. 😅 But if the juice is worth the squeeze, I’m all in. My daughters are my why, not my excuse.

“Love the skin you’re in” isn’t just about feeling beautiful and confident. 🤍

Before I became a mom, I honestly never thought twice about ingredients. My eyes were OPENED about 8 years ago to how marketing works when something is labeled clean and organic in the wellness space, but I didn’t realize that same thing applied to my skincare and beauty products. 😳 I bought what was popular, trusted the labels blindly, and never questioned much beyond whether it worked. But becoming a Mom changes everything. I downloaded the Yuka App years ago when I first became pregnant, and never looked back. But I never once thought to scan beauty products though until now. Who knew?!?!? 😅

I was BAFFLED to learn that the U.S. has banned or restricted ONLY 11 cosmetic ingredients!!! 11!!!! When compared to hundreds being banned in Canada and more than 1,700 substances restricted or prohibited in the EU! Like what the heck??? 😡🤯 How disgusting and why is this even allowed???

I’m not here to tell you to throw away everything in your bathroom or to make you afraid of your products. I just believe we deserve to be informed about what we use every single day. Beauty isn’t just about how your skin looks in the mirror. It’s about being intentional with how you care for it. Your body is your TEMPLE, and you only get one! Why not prioritize what you put in and on it? Especially when your skin is the largest and most absorbent organ you have. Soaks up EVERYTHING!

One of my most favorite things to do is decorate. I love changing things up with the seasons, and the tiny trinkets that make a house a home. Brings me SO MUCH JOY!

Since having the twins though, it’s been completely bare. The thought of extra stuff laying around, out of place, or just the effort it all takes to do it all made my skin crawl. The overstimulation this postpartum season has been constant and through the roof. Never knew what rage cleaning was, or that you had to have a nervous system made of steel. 😅

So I wasn’t going to decorate for Fall this year, but now I’m so glad that I did. And maybe this means I’m starting to get myself back. 🥰🧡🍂

I sat and stared at a blank screen for like 20 minutes trying to find the words for this one. There just aren’t any that will do it justice but here goes…

It’s rare in your work that you get to see someone’s effort from all angles, even in my industry and how work/ social life are so intertwined. You normally see how someone shows up to the group chat and zoom calls and meetings…you don’t normally see what their reality looks like at home when they “clock out”.

But I do see that with Devin. We are best friends, our husbands are best friends and our children are best friends. Our families pile into each other’s houses at least 3x a week. I have watched Devin show up when she has only had a couple hours of broken sleep. I’ve watched her nurse two babies while helping a teammate on speaker bc she didn’t have a free hand to hold a phone. I’ve watched her stay up late to work her business after a full day of being mom to a toddler and twin babies when she could have just laid on the couch and watched Netflix. She has worked her butt off in one of the hardest, most challenging seasons of her life.

But you know the coolest part? I’ve also watched her do this while STILL putting her family first. As much as her goals mean to her - she never let them get in the way of her favorite title of “mom”. Every time we have talked about this MASSIVE goal she was chasing…she said “if it’s meant to be, the Lord will provide”.

And He did. Just like He always does. 💙
