This is the part of building a business that nobody can put a price on. 🥹💜

TJ was having a rough morning, and instead of having to rush him out the door because I had somewhere else to be, I had the time to slow down and be present.

@yourepiclegacy was able to talk with him and help turn his whole morning around.

And THAT is why all those years of building were worth it.

Time freedom isn’t just about vacations and having a flexible schedule. ALLLL THO I LOOVEE ME A VACAY 😂😂😂

Sometimes, it looks like being available when your child needs you without the background noise:

“I’m gonna have to use PTO.”
“Do I have enough PTO?”
“Lord, I’m gonna be late to work again.”
“Can I afford to miss these hours on my check?”

Just being there.

Tonight was a reminder that sometimes you just need to get in the room. 💜

I attended a Small Business Initiative networking event, hosted by @universitycityclt tonight and had the opportunity to connect, learn, have some great conversations, and meet some amazing people.

You never know what can come from one conversation, one connection, or simply deciding to SHOW UP.

I’m being very intentional about getting outside of my normal circles and putting myself in rooms where I can learn, grow, connect and create new opportunities.

Chile… just get in the room. You never know who God might have waiting for you there. 💜✨

What if the thing you’re asking God to restore is the VERY thing He’s using to show you that you made it your source? 👀

Tim and I both getting fired felt like disruption when we were living through it.

Looking back, CHILEEE… it was REDIRECTION. 🙌🏽

Those jobs were resources. They were never our Source.

And sometimes you don’t realize how much security you’ve placed in something until God allows it to be removed.

So instead of only asking:

“God, why is this happening to me?”

Try asking:

“God, what are You trying to show me through this?”

Because what if the disruption you’re praying your way OUT of is the very thing God is using to push you INTO what you’ve been praying for?
