Fifteen Years! It simultaneously feels like we have been together since the beginning of time and that just yesterday I spotted you across the room for the first time at a house church. You are my favorite person in the universe. I’d rather be in a parking lot outside a little league game with you than on the most beautiful beach in Maui without you. Homeschool Mornings… The table is a mess and we vacillate from magical Miss Frizzle moments to frustration and sometimes even tears… but we are together. Choosing how your child will be educated is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a parent. It rightfully feels like a weighty choice, and with so many different options, it can feel overwhelming. There are so many reasons why I love the program we built @capitalchristianacademy. These are just a few of my favorite blessings that come from choosing a hybrid model. If you are weighing your options and feel a tug from the Lord to make a change, know that I am praying for His clarity and direction over your family. Ask Him! I said it today in our staff prayer before we opened our doors for the first day of school 2026 and it keeps echoing in my mind. Jesus is coming back soon and I hope when He does, He picks a Tuesday or Thursday so that I may be found at CCA doing the most important work in all of eternity - raising His children up to know Him. by @mrserikaulrich
