Celebrating Simon's 50th Birthday with a weekend at the Intercontinental Hotel 💕
We were spoilt once again, starting with being upgraded to a fancy suite, with some special touches. A beautiful dinner at The Treasury. Stunning atmosphere. Breakfast at The Conservatory. Amazing. Stroll around. Gorgeous luxury historic Sydney Hotel. And a super special weekend with more amazing memories made. Happy 50th, Simon! Xoxo by @mrsg2004

* We're enjoying another amazing getaway in the Hunter Valley. Staying in the stunning, Spicers Vineyard Estate. It's heaven here. Idyllic & very luxurious. The food & wine is spectacular. The weather is glorious. And we are being spoilt.

SWIPE for home updates...

💕 New lounges....Heaven 💕

So happy that our new lounges have finally arrived & they are so amazing! So comfy. Happy days! Xoxo

The one in our family room is huge, custom made with 4 electric slide-out chaises! With built in speakers/bluetooth. Cup holders. And charging ports. It's so plush and when the slider chaises are out, it's as big as a bed. Good times for movie nights!

The other suite in our lounge room has 2 single electric recliners which have charging ports, and one 3 seater with 2 electric recliners, charging ports & a drop down table with charging dock. And all have cup holders and storage in the arm rests.

P.S We will probably re-arrange the room again at some point. by @mrsg2004

SWIPE for Ava's Adventures...

Mum & daughter night out with Ava last night! 💕 A date with Conan Gray! ❤️🤍💙

It was an awesome night with my eldest girl, core memories made together! Conan was amazing! A packed arena singing along with him and having a great night! ( Conan's opening act, Esha Tewari, was also amazing! She actually hails from Sydney, so that made us all very proud also! ) My favourite thing was watching Ava sing every single word to every single song and loving every minute. Made my heart sing! ( Olivia Rodrigo & Conan Gray are her favourites ) Xoxo

P.S Ava put together her outfit herself, including her sailor hat that she crocheted herself! She's so amazing! She also decorated her bag with ribbon bows & crocheted clovers ❤️🍀

In Max's last week of school he received some gifts & letters from some of his teachers before their official graduation in November ❤️

This one note from his English teacher made me 🥹

When other people see in your kids the things that you have always seen, it's a reminder of the amazing human you have been privileged to parent. Heart happy 💕

SWIPE for Max's School Adventures...

And so here we are, Max has officially finished school today and walked out of the gates for the last time as a student in Year 12! 13 years of school done & dusted! Next term he will go back to do his HSC and complete his final exams. And then in November he will officially graduate & also attend his formal 💕
Not sure where the time went, but what i do know is this; Simon & I are so super proud of this amazing young man and can't wait to see what comes next for him. We know great things are coming as he has already had a few early uni entry admission offers in the last couple of weeks! Proud of you, kid! One last final hurdle to go, Maxy with your HSC exams and then the world is yours! Enjoy your picnic day tomorrow with all of your friends & fellow Class of 2026 school mates! Xoxo

Following in her siblings footsteps, today Kaia competed in the CHPS stage finals of the public speaking competition! Presenting a prepared speech on "Why mistakes mean you are trying" and then an impromptu speech about "My favourite birthday".Well done, Kaia! So proud of our littlest lady, she was fantastic! SWIPE for Max's Soccer Celebrations...

One more post about Max & his GF ❤️

So a little story about about Max & his team winning the M-League Colts U21 Grand Final last Saturday.
I was indeed a nervous wreck before & during the game. My brain was going through all the thoughts & anxiety driven nerves. But i have to confess, my heart was also feeling other things. My heart was telling me that they were going to win. You see the night before & on the day of the game before we left home to head to Lynwood Stadium, i talked to my Dad. I asked him, like i have at other times, to look out for Max and to be with him & his team for the big GF. And to send the sign that he was there and was with Maxy. That sign is a white butterfly. Since Dad passed, i have seen those little white butterflies around me. Most of the time out of nowhere, they appear. I will look up sometimes and there will be one fluttering about and then it will disappear again. And every time one appears i feel it's my Dad. From the day he passed away and i have seen one i always whisper "Hi Dad". It makes me happy & i feel like he is telling me he's around and watching over us.
Cut to the GF. We had to wait longer for the start because the GF before went to penalties. I was anxious whilst we stood & watched that game while we waited for Max's game to start. The stadium was pumping & going off. It was at that time that my Dad sent his sign....Right in front of me a white butterfly fluttered around & past me! And just like that, Dad told he was there & I knew in my heart Max & his team would win 🥹
I quietly told Simon ( he had been talking to my brother ), "It's ok, i know they are going to win, Dad sent his sign" ❤️
As it turned out, that wasn't the only sign. It did start raining during the first half of Max's game. A rainbow then appeared, which ended up being a double rainbow! 🌈🌈 I like to think that was Dad & Simon's Dad both sending signs. ( fútbol being religion for both ) I did take photos of that rainbow. And Max is in some of them too!

Max's game got to extra time. 2-2 at the end of it. Penalties it was to be. I hate penalties. I always feel sick lol.
