Another last day of school. Another year spent waving to this handsome man-but this year he was my HUSBAND!!!

While I didn’t spend the entire year legally being Mrs. Mensendike, that’s what I was called mostly, though some summer school students struggled with the switch 🙂

Even from all the way across the state, we wear black with Ferguson-Florissant NEA. The school district's administration has demanded that teachers and support staff surrender 50 years of workplace protections and start over from nothing. Those protections are not just a union issue, they are what keeps experienced, stable educators in your classrooms.
