We dance West Coast Swing every Tuesday night at:

SLO Grange Hall
2880 Broad St.
San Luis Obispo.

Classes followed by open social dancing:
7pm Level 3
7pm Level 2
7:45 Level 1 (Beginner Class)
7:45 Social Dancing

Cover $15 or $10 college students
First Class Free!

Think of the tunes that were the anthem of your coming of age… for me, it’s millennial tunes. I think about the music that was playing when I started WCS dancing and when SLO Motion WCS began 16 years ago, so naturally we needed a Millennial Nite for our anniversary! 🎶✨

We’re celebrating with late 90s & 2000s music, a Power (Half) Hour of shortened songs so we can dance with more people and mix it up, plus Spotlight Dances for anyone who wants a chance to practice being in the spotlight. And of course, it wouldn’t be a party without food, so bring an appetizer, dessert, or drink to share!

Mostly, I’m just incredibly grateful for these past 16 years. For everyone who has walked through our doors, taken a first WCS class, stayed late for one more dance, brought friends, volunteered, taught, DJed, helped out, or simply became part of this community… thank you. ❤️

SLO Motion has been so much more than Tuesday night dancing. It’s been friendships, laughter, growth, ridiculous amounts of music, and thousands upon thousands of dances. I’m so grateful for all the people who have made this little dance community what it is.

Come celebrate 16 years with us tomorrow night! 🥂💃🕺

3 years old, and just like that she’s officially a big kid! From our little blueberry to this person with opinions and who repeats everything. She’s been saying “My birthday is coming up soon” for like 6 weeks!

Happy 4th of July! We spent our third biking to Concerts in the Plaza (love the free bike vallet!) and having an amazing time! We danced to the music and checked out all they had to offer. We finished the night with Sinshiemer Blues Fireworks from our front yard.
