really enjoying testing out flavor and texture combos lately ❣️ always loved a chocolate / berry combo—so for this one, experimented with the brown butter ccc base—adding black currant hard candy [using a microplane to shave the candy dust] over a layer of feuilletine (crispy crêpe flakes) for a balanced crunch. the outer cookie edges are crispy and the inside is chewy, so the crunchy (think ice cream cone flavored) flakes add another layer to the experience and the black currant hits the edges of the tongue in a subtle and gentle way at the very end, blending nicely into the chocolatey swirls. by @mrsladykitchen
