Black Beard was so good to me for the last 14 years. Carried us across the country and back. Kept our babies safe even in our first accident. I pretty much became a real adult in this baby.

But in line with the last 12 months, it’s time to shed the past and move on to bigger and better things 🖤

This was the Christmas dinner where I learned that a lasagna is acceptable to celebrate any special occasion. 🤌🏼

This is also why the kitchen is one of my favorite places in a house. It reminds me of you. Cooking from the heart with plenty of garlic reminds me of you. With either a Yankees game or some Frank Sinatra on in the background.

8 years is a really long time not to talk to you. Too much has happened. All stuff that I know you’d be so pumped about. We love ya, Pops Man. And miss ya. And we won’t ever stop. Mangia 🇮🇹

I dunno where or when or why or how… but somewhere along the way, my sister and my nieces and I formed an official Pasta Club (girls only! 💋✌🏻) 🍝 I mean, we have t-shirts and all. Today was my last day at ICN 💚

I am so thankful for the professional and personal growth that this incredible place allowed me. The work that I’ve done has helped feed children across America. The relationships formed have helped shape me. I really feel as if I “grew up” over the last 8.5 years, and I have these people and this place to thank for that.

ICN is a part of me. I will always hold the fun times and the challenging times where we all rallied together to get through close to my heart.

I love y’all. Big time.
