Collecting memories while chasing antique lighting, vintage treasures & a little whimsy across New England!

POSTS STORIES REELS

This remarkable hanging lantern reportedly came from a prominent Middletown, Connecticut, residence believed to have been the first home in town with electricity.

While we’re still researching its provenance, the fixture itself is something special.

Featuring richly detailed brass-toned metalwork, elegant Art Nouveau–influenced scrolls, fan-shaped amber glass accents, and striking turquoise opalescent panels, this lantern is a beautiful example of decorative lighting craftsmanship.

The combination of architectural detail, color, and intricate ornamentation makes it as much a statement piece as a functional light fixture.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Intriguing history. Exactly the kind of find we love.

Meet our latest arrival: a vintage Heart Tiffany leaded stained-glass lamp, bearing the label of a New London, Connecticut glass studio.

Featuring an impressive 22-inch floral shade, hundreds of individually assembled glass pieces in warm amber, cream, and ruby red, and a sculptural tree-trunk base.
Believed to date to the late 1970s-1980s, she's a gorgeous example of Tiffany-inspired craftsmanship-with a little Connecticut charm.

At what point does a love of antiques become a diagnosable condition? 🤪🤣

Asking for 2 people with questionable impulse control, a storage problem, & an addiction to lamps.💡🫣👹🛻

Seven pieces deeper into a collection @monster_finds_cool_stuff & I accidentally started Saturday. 💚

Vintage glassware that glows radioactive green under UV light? Obviously, we need it. ✅

Some people collect plates & stamps. We suddenly collect mildly radioactive glassware. ❇️

Now I need a mini UV flashlight for my purse. 🔦😆
