Some highlights from a gorgeous week away 🌴☀️🍹

Even though social media seems to be all about video content nowadays, I am still a photo person at heart and naturally prefer taking photos to capture memories ✨️

Are you more of a photo or video person?

Living her best life 🌴☀️🍦🪩

Buffet breakfast followed by a whole morning in the pool, lunch and then an afternoon nap before dinner and the mini disco to end the night 🕺🏻 is that not the most perfect day for a 2 year old?!

Watch until the end to see Zog himself! 🧡🐲

If you have a little Zog lover then I highly recommend @warwickcastleofficial, they have loads to do including a Zog playground, an interactive quest, live shows, meet and greets plus loads of other activities going on in the castle and grounds! 🏰

💡 Top tip: take a picnic to enjoy in the castle grounds

📢 Parking is a bit of a faff - it's a 20 minute walk from the castle or a free shuttle bus ride. We walked there and got the bus on the way back!

🎫 During term time there is a discounted parent and toddler (under 5s) ticket

Would your child love it here?

She was so in her element 🌳🍃🏕🪨🦋

We went camping for a night to test our setup and see if it was doable/enjoyable with our toddler. It was a massive success and next time we won't hesitate to book 2+ nights!

Lessons were learned for sure, but I'm already looking forward to our next little weekend away! Maybe after this heatwave has passed 😅🫠

What are your camping top tips with kids? Any campsites we should try?

A week of low-prep but highly engaging activities for your toddler/preschooler! 🐛🦋

Anyone who knows me know I LOVE a theme, and the teacher in me cannot resist planning some home learning for my toddler based around a story!

Save for easy summer activity ideas ☀️

Ice cream, iced coffee AND an enclosed playground?! ☀️

Made with milk from their own cows, the ice cream is so creamy and delicious! Plus there was a lovely outdoor area overlooking the cow fields with benches and a well-maintained, enclosed playground 👌🏼

Send this to the person you're bringing with you!

Save this for your Seattle itinerary ☕️🌲

We only had a short stay in Seattle before our cruise to Alaska, and wanted to give our toddler lots of opportunities to wiggle and explore! Jetlag meant we were up at 4am so the days were long, but we made the most of it and got very lucky with the sunshine ☀️

We also visited the first ever Starbucks at Pike Place Market, but I didn't include it since I don't think it's worth the queue if you only have a short time in Seattle! It was no different to any other Starbucks apart from the signature drink 😅

Is there anything you would add or change?
