Hey, Chicago.
I’m Alex, or MrSouthLoop to most of you.

What started five years ago as a way to connect with my South Loop neighbors has grown into something much bigger.

Now, MrSouthLoop is my love letter to the whole city — sharing the best things to do, new restaurant openings, small businesses, happy hour deals, live theater, sports, and yes, even some breaking Chicago tea.

You don’t have to live in the South Loop to follow along.
If you love Chicago, you’re in the right place.

Let’s keep exploring this incredible city together.

Hey, Chicago.

This South Loop spot is serving up some of the BEST soft serve cocktails in the city.

Pancho’s Rooftop (@panchos.rooftop) currently has three options on the lineup: the Horchata Creamarita, Blood Orange Lime Creamarita, and Espresso Martini Soft Serve Cocktail.

My personal favorite is the Espresso Martini Soft Serve. They mix it with caramel, and trust me, it’s DELICIOUS!

Panchos Rooftop is located at: 327 S Plymouth, Chicago IL.

Hey, Chicago.
The Chicago Cubs AND the Chicago White Sox are both heading to the playoffs together for just the fourth time in history! @cubs @whitesox

So, let’s celebrate the only way we know how… with a little “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” from this summer’s Crosstown Classic.

Best of luck to both the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox!

After 9 Years together, Kyle and I have made the difficult decision to separate.

While our love story has ended, our relationship was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Won’t forget, can’t regret, what I did for love.💙 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @mrsouthloop
