As a Black father, being present for my kids means everything to me, even if it’s something as simple as showing up to eat lunch with them at school. My parents didn’t always have that luxury because they were busy working and providing for us. So I don’t take moments like this for granted. I’m blessed to have the time and opportunity to just be there. ❤️🙏🏾

Chopped beef, bacon, butter, sour cream, chives, and that barbecue sauce poured all over the top.
A beautiful, sloppy mess big enough to eat on for two days. We’d scrape together $7 and eat like kings.
Then it became $12, and we thought the world had gone mad.
Homecoming is around the corner, Panthers, so prepare yourselves.
That potato is $18.95 now.

I am absolutely flabbergasted by the number of grown men who use the restroom, handle business 1 or 2 then walk right past the sink, wipe their hands on their clothes, and head back into society like nothing happened. 😭 WASH. YOUR. HANDS.

26 years of friendship means sometimes we play a little differently. 😂 I was told it was a “simple hand procedure,” but when I showed up… it didn’t exactly look simple to me.

My humor can be a little dark sometimes, and if the post genuinely worried or offended anyone, I apologize. ❤️

But one thing I’ll never joke about is the power of love, prayer, and people genuinely caring. Thank you to everyone who reached out, called, texted, and prayed. Thoughts and prayers are real, and they are appreciated more than you know. 🙏🏾
