In early January I stumbled across a list online of the ‘best bakeries in Scotland’. So I decided to try to get to them all in 2025.

And today I wrapped the challenge with a final visit to Fortrose.

So many amazing spots here, many I’ve already been back to (more than once). The @twelvetriangles rye cube lives rent free in my head. My @kafcoffee tshirt got recognised at LAX! Just two bakery tales, and I don’t plan to rank them cause they were all fab. They all deserve a visit!

@bostockbakery
@twelvetriangles
@lannanbakery
@bakhoosbakery
@banditbakery
@havnbofa
@dunebakery
@thebakeryinverness
@kafcoffee
@theisland.bakery
@kjsbothybakery
@foodstoryscotland
@thenewportbakery

I have not got pics from even nearly all of them, but I have added a few from my drive home for the algorithm.

There were a few more I visited over the year because I wanted to, maybe I’ll do my own list next…? by @mrsrochester_af

Yes, four years has flown by. Yes I am very proud of myself. Yes I remain sure I made the right choice.

No, I don’t miss it. No, I cannot remember the last time I thought about having a drink. No, I haven’t watched my Ted Talk in years. by @mrsrochester_af
