Always so full of personality. by @mrssoup

LAST FIRST DAY

We’ve finally made it. Today is the first day of Knoxx’s Senior Year and it’s already off to a bang. We found the perfect Senior Backpack (Minecraft), I decorated their mirror with all the first day of school pictures, and this past weekend, we painted their Senior parking spot (thanks to the incredible help of Aunt Karla).

It seems like just yesterday we were getting ready to walk to Kindergarten but now they drove to school. To say I’m proud of this kid is so minimizing. I am overwhelmed with how incredible they are, so smart and kind and talented, and this year is going to be amazing. by @mrssoup

Well, we have survived this year. When they say the Junior Year is the hardest, they weren’t kidding. But I am so incredibly proud of everything this kid has made it through. The hard work, determination, and able to remain kind and stand up for themself makes me so proud.

Who knows what the future will bring…but I’m glad the summer is finally here and they can breathe a little bit more. Especially when they go to Germany for a month!

Happy Summer, everyone! by @mrssoup

9 years ago, I was in a play with these two lovely ladies. And now, we’re in New Orleans celebrating Tonja’s wedding after celebrating Lindsay’s last year.

So honored to have these beautiful ladies in my life, having brunch monthly with them is an incredible joy. Seeing their loves blossom for their husbands have also been so wonderful.

So lucky to have so many incredible humans in my life. by @mrssoup

On this Mother’s Day, I feel so lucky to be the filling between two amazing women.

My mom has taught me how to parent, how to give grace and to have patience (that’s much harder for me to learn), how to be fearless and how to love so completely. It’s always such an honor when someone learns that I’m her daughter to hear how much they love her.

And then my own child has given me so much to my life and helped me grow as a person. I’m so blessed to have the child that I do. Someone so kind and caring and giving and smart and talented and self aware.

What a glorious day, as I sit here and laze around while Knoxx makes me breakfast and then will go spend the afternoon with my mom and family.

Happy Mother’s Day to all my mothers. You are loved. by @mrssoup
